are spirits of cards that attach themselves to duelists (or room freely
in the dueling world). The main monster which is associated with Duel
Spirits is Kuriboh, having shown supernatural tendencies in
Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters and becoming a fully-fledged partner to
Judai Yuki in
Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters GX and the
Yu-Gi-Oh! GX manga. It then reappeared again as a Duel Spirit in
Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's.
