Duelist Kingdom is a private island owned by Pegasus J. Crawford,
and the location of the tournament of the same name. It is the
battlefield of 40 of the world’s strongest duelists, invited to compete
for a prize of ¥3000,000 and the title King of Duelists. Yugi enters the tournament with Jonouchi in tow, forced to participate after Pegasus steals Sugoroku’s soul. Between strong and underhanded competitors and the notorious Player Killers,
Yugi has many obstacles to overcome before reaching Sugoroku and
discovering the true purpose behind Duelist Kingdom. However, he is not
the only one who has a score to settle with Pegasus. Seto Kaiba is also there to retrieve something he holds dear, and he will go to great lengths to achieve it.
