Ishizu Ishtar (イシズ・イシュタール, Ishizu Ishutāru) is the Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities and the only daughter of the Ishtar family of Tomb Guardians. She is the successor of the Millennium Tauk which she uses to predict the future. Her goal is to free her brother Marik from his own dark side and help the Pharaoh to regain his lost memories. In the bunkoban releases, her name is spelled Ishizu Ishutarl.

Ishizu uses a deck which allows its own cards to be destroyed in order to activate Reversal of the Living World and the Spirit World, swapping the places of both players' Cemeteries and Decks. She relies on the opponent having few cards in their Cemetary before the reversal, so that the opponent will quickly run out of cards and be unable to continue the duel after she activates her Trap. Her monsters are Egyptian-themed Angels such as Kelbek and Mudora, although she does not need these cards to win if her strategy goes as planned.
Ishizu is able to predict the moves that the opponent will make thanks to her Millennium Tauk and she leans on this ability in order to win. She has beaten her brother Marik in the past with her deck and also manages to ascend to the top eight of the Battle City tournament with it.
