Jeager (イェーガー) is the Chief of Special Investigations in Neo Domino City. He works under the orders of Rex Godwin. A short and sinister man, Jeager wears clown makeup and is a part of the ancient cult of Yliaster. He assists Godwin in the hunt for Signers with the 'dragon birthmark'.

Jeager is rather sly, and is usually the one to blackmail or speak on the behalf of Rex Godwin. He appears to not get along well with Mikage Sagiri.

Jeager is Neo Domino City's Head of Special Investigations. He and Mikage Sagiri spot Jack Atlas meeting a person from Satellite, and Jeager has Mikage report it to Godwin. When Godwin arrives, he, Jeager, and Mikage watch the duel between Jack and Yusei. After analyzing the duel with Akutsu, Jeager surmises that the clash of two Signers and their dragons is needed for the Crimson Dragon to appear. Godwin later talks in private with Jeager and they both conspire to confirm their suspicions about Yusei's status as a Signer.

As part of their efforts to root out the Signers, Godwin and Jeager devise the Fortune Cup. Jeager calls off Tetsu Ushio and invites Yusei to participate in the Cup, threatening Yusei's Satellite friends if Yusei Fudo does not agree.
