Martin Kanou (加納マルタン Kanō Marutan) is the son of Napoleon and a student in Ra Yellow. Living in Paris, Martin's parents constantly bickered until Napoleon left home and Martin was raised by his mother. His depressing past is the reason that Yubel is able to influence him and take control of his body. When Duel Academia is transported to the Duel Monsters World, Martin (possessed by Yubel) takes over the school and turns many of the students into Duel Zombies.
