Miho Nosaka (野坂 ミホ Nosaka Miho) is a shy student librarian, whom Hiroto Honda has a crush on. Her friends call her 'Ribbon-chan' due to the yellow ribbon she always wears in her hair. Although a very minor character appearing only once in the manga, she becomes part of the main cast and Yugi Mutou's friend in the Toei series. Her personality there is completely different: she is a naïve airhead constantly being fawned over by Honda. In this series she helps her friends to win many of the major battles, including Death-T and Monster World.

[edit] Personality

Her personality differs greatly from the transition from manga to anime. In the manga she is portrayed as a shy, intellectual librarian, however in the anime, she is shown to be a little more bold and simple-minded.

In both the anime and manga, Honda is shown to have a huge crush on Miho, however she turns him down at the end of chapter 7 of the manga, however this is taken a step further in the anime with the introduction of Ryo Bakura. She follows him around wherever he goes, and in general, obsesses over him as much as Honda obsesses over her.

[edit] Early Manga

Honda tries to send a love letter puzzle to her, yet Ms. Chono picks up the puzzle, threatens the unknown author of it with expulsion, and then tries to solve the puzzle. Dark Yugi places a penalty game on her, causing Chono to lose her makeup and reveal an ugly face. Miho rejects Honda when he asks her to go on a date.

[edit] Toei Series

In the Toei series, Miho is a ditz. Her favorite games are shown to be Capsule Monster Chess and Duel Monsters, however, Miho being Miho, she only collects the ones she thinks are pretty or cute.
