Mikage Sagiri (狭霧深影 Sagiri Mikage) is Rex Godwin's secretary, as well as the handler of Jack Atlas. Despite her best efforts, she can usually do little to look after the impulsive Jack, whom she appears to have some affection for.
[edit] Personality
Mikage has a very meek and sweet personality. She's usually rather quiet, but occasionally has a loose tongue. Despite her loyalty to her superiors, she is often treated with little respect.
[edit] Biography
After Jeager reports Jack's meeting with Yusei Fudo, Mikage tells Rex Godwin about it during a meeting with Akutsu. Godwin politely excuses himself from the meeting, and nearly strangles Mikage for allowing Jack to leave. She, Godwin, and Jeager then watch the duel between Yusei and Jack on the police scanner.
The next morning, Jack interrogates Mikage about how he arrived back at the mansion. Mikage simply replies that the director took him back and that he must've been upset that his duel was inconclusive. Jack is angered by her lasts statement and asks how she knew that there was no end to duel. Mikage realizes the fault she's made and quickly bows and apologizes. However, Jack ignores her and leaves to go see Godwin.
After Jack learns that he actually lost to Yusei, he is greatly troubled. Mikage then brings him information on his next duel and asks him if he'd review it. He ignores this though, and asks Mikage how she sees him to which she replies that she sees him as the King of Riding Duels. Jack immediately becomes angry, saying that he is no longer a King since he lost. Mikage disagrees, believing that he should be King. Jack then yells at her, asking how she could expect him to duel in that frame of mind. Mikage appears to be hurt by his words, and seems to be on the verge of crying. Jack then spins around and stares pensively out the window, asking if he is now a clown.
Once the day of the duel comes, Mikage is seen with Jack in preparation for the duel. She compliments him on his appearance to which Jack seemingly takes offense to. He then asks her if the Director will be watching and she explains that he won't since he is at the detention center. Jack then tightens his fists, grabs his deck and leaves to face his opponent. Mikage is seen entering the stadium with a concerned look upon her face.
Mikage is later seen serving tea to Jack. At the time, Jack is suspicious of Godwin and asks her what he's planning. Mikage replies him that she has not been told anything. Jack then pulls out Yusei's ace card, Stardust Dragon, and declares with a smile that he will bring the Crimson Dragon into submission before leaving Mikage behind.
