Mokuba is the only person who the seemingly cold-hearted Seto will he openly expresses affection towards, and in return Mokuba is fiercely loyal to him. Despite the hardships Mokuba is put through on account of his brother and the Kaiba Corporation, he retains a tremendous amount of faith in the bond they share, which is something that gets them both through hard times and helps Seto overcome the traumas of the life they shared with Gozaburo.

[edit] Personality

Mokuba's first appearance in the manga

Even though he’s introduced as a somewhat spoiled and mean child in the manga, throughout the story, Mokuba grows into a kindhearted boy who only seeks to ensure his older brother’s wellbeing. When Seto is defeated by Dark Yugi at Magic and Wizards, Mokuba goes out of his way to get revenge for his brother's humiliation. This passionate loyalty was brought about by the brothers' time at the orphanage, where Seto was Mokuba's only protection from bullies.

Mokuba's favorite game is Capsule Monster Chess, at which he's considered a champion despite only being in elementary school. He is not above cheating, and both times when he plays Capmon against Dark Yugi he rigs the machine so that he will get the strongest pieces and Yugi will get the weakest. Despite his title of champion, however, he is not very strategic and thus both times he loses the match.
