Psychic Duelists

Psychic Duelists are duelists with the ability to turn cards' effects into reality, along with the damage inflicted. Depending on the individual's feelings of hate and anger, this power could increase or decrease.

This ability includes materializing Duel Monsters using cards and causing damage inflicted on the opponent to become real pain, even outside of a duel. Aki Izayoi and Divine have displayed such abilities. It is said to be fueled by violent nature, and feelings of revenge. Most duelists who born with this ability are cast away by society.
Ruka is believed to be a psychic duelist due to her being able to communicate with the spirits of cards. As a result, she tires easily after dueling, not old enough to keep her powers locked. Her powers have caused her to be transported to the Duel Monster Spirits World on two occasions.
