Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Movie: Super Fusion! Bonds That Transcend Time (10thアニバーサリー 劇場版 遊☆戯☆王 〜超融合!時空を越えた絆〜 10th Anivāsarī Gekijōban Yū☆gi☆ō ~Chō Yūgō! Jikū o Koeta Kizuna~) is an upcoming 3D animated movie made for the celebration of the tenth anniversary of the anime of the Yu-Gi-Oh! series. It is to be released in Japanese theaters on January 23, 2010. Kazuki Takahashi himself has worked on animating the climax of the movie, according to Producer "S".

The promotional card for the movie is Sin Red-Eyes Black Dragon.

Yusei Fudo, protector of Neo Domino City through dueling, has his ace monster, Stardust Dragon, stolen by a mysterious man who has come from the future to lead the world down the path of destruction, Paradox.

Yusei goes through a time slip and reaches Judai Yuki, one capable of using the power of Card Spirits. Yusei then learns the truth behind the incident. That truth being...

In pursuit of Paradox, Yusei and Judai travel to the times of the legendary duelist, Yugi Mutou. Then the three meet and make an agreement to combine their powers to fight. Yugi is taken over by Dark Yugi afterwards. To save the world and to retrieve Yusei's Stardust Dragon, Dark Yugi, Judai and Yusei's grand duel with Paradox unfolds.

Starting of episode 85 of 5D's, a monster was revealed at the beginning of each episode. The Sin monsters, monsters bearing transformed wings and masks belong to Paradox. A new Neos and a monster belonging to Yusei were showcased in the beginning of episodes 90 and 91 respectively. In the beginning of episode 92, the Tuner Monster of the Sin series was showcased.

The movie itself features several new cards, as well as additional Sin Monsters and support cards.

The movie was initially announced as an OVA, but it was later unveiled as a movie featuring the protagonists of the three series. In later issues of V-Jump, Paradox was revealed as the antagonist. Starting with episode 65 of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, there was a special sequence before the episode alternating between Yugi, Judai and Yusei and their respective monsters. The official website for the movie was created in July.

A trailer of the movie, along with an introduction of the series were aired on the 12th of October at Jump super Anime Tour 2009. The trailer contained lines with vital plot points, such as Stardust Dragon getting stolen or the Forbidden Duel World, Sin World.

A post recording interview was held on the 26th of October, in which the three voice actors for the protagonists revealed information about their characters, such as Yusei using polite language when addressing Yugi and Judai. News reports of the event also included pictures from the movie. A part of this interview was shown in the November 9 broadcast of Anison Plus+.

On the 17th of November, some details about Atsushi Tamura's role as Paradox have been released. In the 01/2010 issue of V-Jump, Paradox has been shown without his mask.

On the 25th of November, it has been announced that special cards will be given and limited to those who go watch the movie.

Sakiyomi JumBANG! featured the movie in their November 27th broadcast. The guests included Yuya Miyashita and Takanori Hoshino, Yusei's and Jack Atlas's voice actors respectively. Miyashita commented on Paradox being a powerful antagonist and how he would steal Stardust Dragon and try destroying the world. The cast members were announced as MCs for the movie. They practiced their lines about Pegasus being introduced to an audience, later revealed to be the gathering of the event Pegasus attended.

On the 30th of November, the theme song was revealed to be performed by Jealkb, called "makemagic", which will be released on the 20th of January, 2010. News articles about Atsushi Tamura's post recording interview have appeared on the same day. A new trailer showed scenes from the movie which also previewed the theme song.

On the 4th of December, a second version of the trailer appeared on the official site, featuring additional clips and lines from the Jump Super Anime Tour trailer.

On the 10th of December, a FAQ was released in the staff diary about the 3D aspects of the movie. It also revealed the length of the movie, 49 minutes, while mentioning "it is not too short but not too long".

The 02/2010 issue of V-Jump featured a shot of Paradox unmasked and one of the captions revealed that it is an ability of Paradox's which allows him to turn the monsters into Sin monsters, as well as ten information on the upcoming movie. It also contained a comment from Takahashi saying he has always wanted to see Yu-Gi-Oh's card battles in 3D one day and it makes him really happy. He is glad to see Yugi and his battles again after such a long time.

On the 26th of December, TV Tokyo's Ene! broadcasted a ten minute report of the movie. It featured additional scenes from the movie, such as Judai being hit by Stardust Dragon's attack and Yusei and Judai talking on a wrecked roof.

Anison Plus+ featured the movie in the 2 January special, where Jealkb's members made their comments.

On the 17th of January, a 30 minute preview was aired of the movie, to which 1330 people were specially invited to through a contest. A stage greeting was also held, where the voice actors of the four main characters commented on their characters. Several news articles reported the event. According to the staff diary, Kazuki Takahashi also attended the preview and commented he was moved deeply. The diary also wrote about some of the viewers' impressions, which were generally positive.

On the 21st of January, the 10th Anniversary Animation Book was released in V-Jump in memory of the tenth anniversary. It contains information about the three series and the movie.

The 03/2010 issue of V-Jump included further information on the movie, including a sneak peek of the Animation Book.

Sakiyomi JumBANG! featured the movie once again in their 22 January broadcast. A footage was shown from the movie with the cast being the MCs at Pegasus' event. Additional screenshots of the movie was also released on the same day on various news sites.

As of the 85th episode of 5D's, a card was revealed every week from the movie, making it a total of nine cards. The last card was revealed on the 20th of January.

The producers of the movie, "J" and "S", frequently provided updates in the official website's diary section.

On the 28th of January, an "Interview" section was opened on the movie's website.
