Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters III: Tri-Holy God Advent (遊戯王デュエルモンスターズ3 三聖戦神光臨) is a game released for the Gameboy Color. It uses the special rules established for the previous two Duel Monsters games, and features characters from the Duelist Kingdom and Battle City arcs of the manga
as opponents. It is notable as the first Yu-Gi-Oh! game to be released
in English. Duel Monsters III also featured a unique card creation
system where upper and lower body cards could be combined to create new
monsters, none of which have been seen since this game.

[edit] Gameplay
The style of the game was much like the rest of the Gameboy titles around the time: players would be given a stage with a set of opponents, and must defeat them a certain amount of times before being allowed to proceed to the next stage, which contained more opponents. Players could collect cards and trade them via the Link Lead cable. There is no clear storyline other than to duel a set of opponents. The 'Final Boss' so to speak is DarkNite, a character designed by Kazuki Takahashi exclusively for the Yu-Gi-Oh! videogames.[edit] Stage 1
