Since at the DK thread was talking about the Toei's version, I have decided to make a thread about it. Toei made plenty of mistakes in their anime, most glaring was the animation quality. The animation quality was poor and resulted in color mishaps such as the infamous green Kaiba hair. The shadow games were also changed, for instance in very first chapter of the manga, the game is played by stabbing a knife into a pile of money without stabbing your hand which is at the bottom of pile. In the anime, Dark Yugi and Ushio hang from a building and turn playing cards over to see who goes further. Miho was made a main character in anime, in the manga she is a one-shot character. On the positive side, I liked the VA's they choose especially Yugi's Edited for a minor mistake

They were stabbing money, actually, but yeah. Dark Yugi seems to have some crazy space-time warping abilities in the Toei series on top of his ability to cast penalty games. lol
The problem with the stupid anime details of the Toei series is that there are far too many to list: the whole series made no damn sense whatsoever.

Atemu's episode 4 manipulation of the air-con room in the arcade to the inside of a clock was seriously trippy. I wonder if the animators of that scene, were sampling some experimental grasses (if you catch my drift) at the time. Kos
