Not at the moment, SiegLord. All we know is that the DVD will add extra scenes to Episode 154.

We like to think that he died in the final scene of the anime. Jack's line about wanting to fight him again refers to knowing he is Jesus, so he is waiting for his resurrection. I wouldn't call them wonderful. I'd say half assed. A lot of Ono's ramblings on 129 to 154 was me definitely half assing it. (Have I mentioned I dislike doing conversational Japanese and prefer translating cards?)

Yusei could have honored Judai more by Fusion Summoning Dragoequites more than once on-screen, but the gesture is still touching. Just my opinion.

Well considering it was an alternative to Synchro Summoning that would have rendered the enimes useless, that doesn't even take into account that some of Yusei's Synchro Monsters also do that - Machine Emperors really should have just removed all Synchro Monsters from the game (cannot be negated by an effect) prevented their Summoning and negated their effects. That would have made them a THREAT!

Jack's attitude cements it in that when Yusei thought to not use Synchros on the field, Jack figured to work around the limitations. While Yusei tried to use Synchro monsters to power up Back Up Warrior, Jack used RDA, not thinking one bit that the Meklords could take it over.

For one of them, he's thanking the people originally from Sunrise for working on the storyboards on such a heavy rotation.

No canon couples = everyone's happy.

I hope the extended scenes will show what Yusei is doing after 8 years, and/or fill in any holes that were left behind.

A lot of people have hoped that the scenes will include YuAki. But if they do, my gosh, I'm gonna be pissed.
There are more important things that could be covered. Like where Yusei is now. Or maybe the other side characters. What happens to Carly, Mikage, Ushio, Sherry, ect, ect.
Or maybe we'll get scenes that include Bruno.

Sly/Ruka would have made everyone happy.

Alternatively, 5Ds was actually the only Yu-Gi-Oh Series I believe that didn't have Shipping Wars. Everyone seemed rather fine with the Canon Couples that were presented.

Not really. If you go on deviantart, there are a lot of different shippers that don't like the hinted canon couples. There are a ton of DivAki fans, CrowAki fans, YuSher fans, JackMika fans, ect ect. Including the yaoi and yuri fans. Also the crack shippers.

But there were a lot of issues. Like there were a lot of faithshippers that would bash and flame anyone who didn't support the couple or supported a different couple including Yusei and/or Aki.

Hmm, i was aware their were different prefered pairings. Wasn't aware they coupletely hated the Canon couples. I suppose I believed they'd accepted the Canon Couples even if they prefer other couples.

To be fair, I hope we do get more insight into other characters. An extended Yusei/Aki isn't required.

Trust me. There are people who hate some of the canon couples. Enough to where there's an Anti-Faithshipping fanclub on deviantart and one on MyAnimeList.

They're not always easy to find, but there are people who prefer other couples and hate the implied canon couples.

I couldn't give you a direct link to any debates. Most of them are all over the place. And the ones I have seen, I can't remember for the life of me where they are.
Good luck finding them. But a word of warning. Don't try to start any debates on shipping fanclubs/groups. More often than not, they don't allow that.

And no. The faithshippers wouldn't hate you if you preferred JackCar over YuAki. They'd only bash you if you preferred another shipping that doesn't include Yusei and Aki being together. (Example: DivAki fans get it the worst)

I prefer the term "menage a trois", but same idea. And Yusei and Aki have to leave Crow at home whenever they go to Aki's parents' house for dinner, because they wouldn't approve. planetarial: How would you Accel Synchro in a Standing Duel? This one should kinda be obvious... Have you ever watched G-Gundam? Were you influenced by G-Gundam, Director Ono?
katsuono: Because the Accel Synchro is a Synchro performed within speed, it can't be done in a Standing Duel. And I basically do like Director Kawa's work. With G-Gundam, I couldn't tell right from left when I entered the industry, and being so busy, I've only seen the beginning and end. I plan on watching it all sometime.

On a side-note, what are the odds we could try asking Ono about whether or not the unreleased 5D's music would get a release? Might be a long shot, but it could be worth it. *shrug*
