For the 49 minutes there a problem: V-Jump scans mentionned on the timer, at the moment when Paradox seems arrive in Yugi's era, 23 minutes. Arynis and YYugi succeded to read it.

So, 49 minutes minutes seems short and even impossible. Perhapas they tried to say the film contains 49 minutes of 3D images ?

EDIT: I retrieve the picture in previous posts for the timer.

Hmm. I actually thought of that possibility as well. However, that would bring up the question - why is even 2chan and Newwise torn over the statement about the movie's length in that case? Unless one suspects everyone misinterpreted the statement about the length of the movie, but I doubt that.

According to the timers we have seen, the movie would go like this:

00:00 - 00:10 -> Opening and introduction. Paradox steals Stardust and Yusei goes through the timeslip.
00:10 - 00:20 -> Judai and Yusei meet. Yusei learns the truth behind the incident. The two depart into DM's time. Something bad happens to Yugi. Yusei and Judai meet Yugi and the three agree to fight together. They find Paradox and challenge him.
00:23 -> Paradox is seen talking to the three here in Domino City.
00:23 - The rest of the movie -> Duel between Paradox and the three protagonists begins. Paradox plays Sin World (the burning buildings?) and summons the Sin Monsters to destroy Domino City. Possible flashbacks to Paradox's bad future. The protagonists eventually overcome Paradox, who is then dealt with (he dies, goes back to his own time, etc.) The story is wrapped up, credits and the ending roll.

With the movie being 49 minutes long, it would explain why Yusei was with Judai already in the first 10 minutes.

That sounds logical, especially since we know that the entire interview in the diary section was about the 3D animation in the movie. Maybe there is light at the end of the tunnel. xD

The rest of the movie for 25 minutes + 1:30 credits or somehing like this, there 23 minutes 30. Plus dialogues between characters, explanations, Yusei who returns in his era at the end... It seems me short.

In one of the latest updates in the diary section was announced that still "the contents" of the movie are about to be revealed. I guess that'll include the timelasting, so we just have to wait.

I don't recall any of the recent entries stating that. If you mean the bit from this entry, it was from one of the very first ones.

Oh, my mistake....sorry...it looks as if I live with old info.
These..."contents"...might be published in the sections that are still unable.

But, anyway...that's still a supposition. I wonder what these sections will contain.

    Heh.

That is a good question, but it could be anything. I could see one of them being some download section for sure, containing stuff like wallpapers? XD But they could've easily revealed such a section if they wanted to already. I wonder if they are related to anything post-movie related event/activity?

The information from the upcoming V-Jump issue (2/2010) should be up on Newwise BBS and 2chan sometime during the next week, by the way. (The non-manga info usually find their way online a few days before the actual manga release, which is on the 21st.)

    Spoiler: ...

You forgot that this screenshot happens at 0:17. ^^

    Edit:
I saw the picture that shows of what minute it is, and this is strange.
a shot of Yusei and Judai is shown at 0:10 with seconds of diferences, and now this.
this screenshot originaly happens at 10:17:26:02.
    sorry for that xP.

I can't see that picture. If it's the one with the three VAs with the screen behind them showing the three protagonists standing together, I was referring to that moment with "They find Paradox and challenge him.". I just guessed they would be challenging/talking to Paradox there.

The timer confuses me, to be honest. The shot with Paradox (in V-Jump) appears to read 23:... instead of 10:... , but in the case of Yusei and Judai, it would imply everything happened in a matter of seconds and they warped to the DM period (with Yugi with them) right away. Which makes me ask how Yugi got to the two of them right away, even though the trailer shows the two asking Yugi to help them beforehand.

    Also: http://doublepusse.blog36.fc2.com/blog-entry-108.html

Apparently Ruka's voice actor, Yuka Terasaki, also confirmed her role in the movie in her blog. The entry is here. (But I suppose that was to be
expected with Rua's appearing and everything.

Thanks Arynis...with that I think it's obvious that we'll see all main 5D'S characters at the beginning and probably at the end of the movie. Jack, Crow, Rua...now Ruka...The only one left is Aki.

Now, Im starting to think that we can't trust the timers. Because before they challenge Paradox, they have to meet and ride on Yusei's D-Wheel and that can't happen in seconds.

And about the picture, it was the screenshot of the three protagonists without the VAs.

I still am hoping that the whole 49 minutes was a mistake. Oh well either way, I'll still enjoy it.

There is no way that this could only be 49 minutes.

    If it is, oh well.

Are those timers part of the movie? Or part of the channel?

I remember when I used to watch Digimon raws, theire would always be a timer on the screen, which according to this one guy was used in morning shows to make sure kids didn't miss school. ;X

Out of the Signers, I honestly expected Crow to have the least chance of an appearance. Now that we know he's in, I think Aki has a good shot. I originally thought we would only see Yusei and Jack, but I'm really glad the whole 5D's cast will have some involvement.

Now crossing my fingers for Jounouchi, Anzu, Honda, Kaiba, Mokuba... even if the more minor ones get no speaking roles. Also hoping for a few GX cast characters too.

Didn't copy everything from the post because there are things we already know. What could only be called novelty is the short interview with Atsushi Tamura and the written official trailer, although we already know the translation. The interview is also not saying anything new about the movie. God knows why I posted it, though it is nothing new, but nothing. However, check out the post. I may have missed something important, although I doubt that.

The room they are in seems like the recording room, so I don't think it would be a channel's timer. The other possibility I could think of is that they did the recording in parts, and the timer is for that specific part of the movie. Or the timer is really for the entire movie, and they would skip to a specific part whenever they had to dub a specific scene.

That's a likely prediction at the moment, but we don't know for sure. Rainbow Dragon is rumored for now, but we don't know about the other four. They could be anything, still.

Not many other dragons I can think of besides the mentioned. I mean, unless they add Chimeratech Overdragon and Fortress Dragon. Well, there's also Armored Dragon but wouldn't say exactly that's Manjyome's ace, but dunno if Paradox would go and take the other Signer's dragons either. I mean, that'd be a good motive for Yusei to go after Paradox in that Riding Duel shown in the trailer.

Plus, would be cool if in the movie and Paradox summons a SIN monster, a quick flashback is shown about that character and the duels the card was used. If that happens, I guess those are quick cameos of others.

Heh. I was talking with Ryusaki and we thought the duel could be pulled off in a short amount of time if they did tons of cool crap happening fast, ala Gurren Lagann finale. The three protags pulling a GATTAI CHO GATTAI, oh yeah! After all, the last Gurren Lagann episode was also about 20 minutes and it managed to be the most epic battle ever. Granted, Yugioh isn't somewhat is Gurren Lagann, but hey, it has the potential for it.

If they play cards fast and without much explanation, the duel could be pulled off without dragging it on too much. Kind of like around the end of Pyramid of Light, where Anubis summoned the Sphinxes but didn't explain why he could summon them or if the move was legal or not.

Either way, Paradox and the Anti Spiral could be totally BFFs. B|

I AGREE AND WILL REPEAT WHAT YOU SAID.

As anyone who's seen the first Gurren Lagann movie knows, the 20 minutes of new animation are almost all at the end, and we see combining, new special attacks and massive explosions, all with almost no explanations. Basically, if this movie does that it's a win-win situation. Barely any non-Yugioh fans will be seeing this movie, and even if they do, they probably won't care about card technicalities. And us jaded viewers can skip past all the "this card lets me draw 2 cards" stuff and see more rainbow explosions.

The moves towards the end of the duel in PoL were some of the few good bits of the movie, because it felt like the duel was so intense nobody felt like explaining their cards anymore. Considering this is only just over half the length of that crummy movie, this has even more reason to not spend five minutes telling us what Bubbleman does.

Yeah, I thought POL had pretty cool duels. The little montage one with Joey at the beginning, Pegasus' toons, and the finale had them play some neat cards. I enjoyed that part of the movie, which to be fair was pretty much the reason I saw it.

    Nice!

Looks like (from the fourth picture) that Paradox's Sin Monsters don't have the same restrictions that the OCG monsters do.

How exactly does that picture bring up anything about restrictions?

Very nice! This month's V-Jump is finally out, I see.

So we get screenshots from the movie again, including a proper shot of Paradox unmasked and the Sin Red-Eyes and Blue-Eyes. I'm especially curious about the captions next to the pictures of Sin Red-Eyes/Blue-Eyes and Paradox looking over the ruined world. They also cover the JumBANG broadcast, and there's something (again) about the three cast members being MCs.

There's also the story summary, but it's the same one from the movie site.

There are 2 Sin Monsters at the same time, and the real cards restrictions only allow 1.

Paradox seems to have green eyes on the screen. Monsters OCG effects brings complementary effect or the translation is complete ?

I think they are yellow, although it's a bit hard to see in that particular scan. It can be seen well enough on the other unmasked Paradox pictures.

I tried writing down/translating the caption with the Sin Red-Eyes and Sin Blue-Eyes:

    パラドックスはその能力で、主人公たちとともた活躍してきたモンスターの姿を次々と変えてしま う。

"Paradox's ability consists of transforming the appearance of the main characters' monsters one by one."

Hmm. If it's an actual ability of his, the monsters having their appearance altered can't be really Sin World's effect.

Yellow green are possible also. Others pictures will give the answer.

Sin World effect can simply be: "Monsters with "Sin" in their card names can be summoned".

The Sin Monsters only require a Field Spell, not Sin World specifically. Sin World could just remove the restrictions (such as "only one Sin Monster on the field") on the Sin Monsters. Kind of like Toon Monsters maybe - you can summon Class C Toon Monsters (Eg. Toon Gemini Elf) without Toon World, but they can direct attack only with Toon World on the Field. And of course, just like the Sin Monsters, they are destroyed if Toon World is also destroyed. (Although this is more like granting an extra ability rather than removing a restriction.)

Me and Remaner wanted to try translating the other captions, but the text is too small so we can't make out the kanjis. ):

Actually, they are "yellow" kind of colour. Much more like Dartz's yellow eyes.

I also thought about Dartz here. His original eye color was yellow or golden something.
Though with all that blond hair or what ever it is and that he looks bigger than the trio he also reminds me of Raphael a lot too.

Haha, then I'm not the only one! I mean, look:

Probably not the best Raphael picture to use for the comparison, but that was the only episode which came to my head. That, and I remembered it was one of the several episodes drawn by Kagami. XD

    The EYES
I knew this was familiar to me xD
Really looks alike, and also looks like Kagami haven't changed his drawing style since DM ^^
Also agree that the color of his eyes are like Dartz.

I think that image of Paradox kinda spoiled on the movie..looks like how he'd react at the end of the duel, "realizing he was wrong" and such. Damn =/ Had a feeling it'd go like that..

    Does Paradox has a S.I.N F.G.D?

If so that would be awesomesauce
