Posts 801 & 804 in 2chan, made me an impression.I don't know if they contain any new info for the movie, but someone with better translators, or who knows japanese could just look at them.
Spoiler: 2chan - Posts 801 & 804
Again, I don't claim there's something new for the movie......just these posts look very suspicious to me.![]()
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Makemagic is such a great song, I like it a lot! It was also cute when they wished Happy Birthday to Atsushi Tamura, and then the girl struggled to give him a kiss. And then he fed her a piece of his cake. Haha, so adorable!
EDIT: @ Lia: They seem to be comparing the protagonists' decks and their abilities in those posts. I don't think it's anything new.

I was like, "Aww she seems cute!" Then when I heard the voice, I did what Ace Ventura did in Pet Detective. Y'know the part I'm talking about! And yes, I washed the plunger before adjusting to face. =P
EDIT: Btw, the band is extremely Visual Kei. Did this song get chosen because of the Visual kei popularity or because they were reminded of Yubel? I say both ^_^

...Oh. I thought she just had a deep voice. XD; But it did seem odd to me.
That explains why Atsushi struggled like he did, haha.
Jealkb is Atsushi Tamura's band, who voices Paradox, possibly that's why. Unless you meant something else.Originally Posted by Kyte

Sin Red Eyes
Sin Stardust
Sin cyber End
And A confirmed Sin Ultimate Gem God Rainbow Dragon
I think there is going to be a Red Demons one also, and possibly A Sin Dragon of Paradox's own creation
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
I hope they just dont just release it America but, the entire world. The world doesn't happen to revolve around American y'know.
With the movie, 4kids better not touch it or BANG they will be getting a few more hate mail coming their way until they learn to never pick up anime again. If I lived in America I would try to oust them from the dubbing industry one way or another.
But, I hope they just we get the movie in english and not have 4kids interfere with it. Maybe Viz Media could take the movie licence and dub it with their great actors. Death Note and some Naruto actors come to mind.

Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Sin Cyber End Dragon it is. Next week's should be Sin Ultimate Gem God Rainbow Dragon.
I'm convinced by now that the wings do seem to resemble masks, kind of like masks, anyway. (I guess Stardust is an exception.) The "eyes" on Sin Cyber End's wings look like the eyes on Paradox's mask.
I'm wondering, though. If Paradox supposedly defeats Yusei in their duel and then travels in time, the majority of the monsters would have to be from the GX and DM periods. It could be also possible that Paradox snatches Jack's and Crow's monsters after he got Yusei's. (Maybe the two got mad and summoned their monsters?)
EDIT: Damn, Sin Red-Eyes' card art is impressive! The background looks neat, too. Pretty! <3

From the corrupted dragons we were able to see till now, I think the coolest one was Sin BEWD. The "corrupted" art fits this dragon best.....My second place is for Sin REBD.

SIN RED-EYES BLACK DRAGON
Dark/Dragon/7/2400/2000
This card cannot be Normal Summoned. You can only Special Summon this card if you return 1 "Red-Eyes Black Dragon" in your Cemetery back to your dec. There can only be 1 monster face-up on the field with "Sin" in its name beside this card at a time. Once per turn, you can select 1 monster face-up on your field beside this card. Inflict damage equal to the selected monster's attack power. The selected monster cannot attack on this turn. If there is not a Field Magic card face-up on the field, this card is destroyed.

It is good to know the initial reports were off and they're not uniformly "RFG the original in the deck" since that would've been pretty bland. And Red Eyes can even work around the 'No one else can attack' thing...

Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Really good effect ! Better than Sin Blue Eyes Dragon ! His effect to be summoned is the contrary compare to Sin Blue Eyes White Dragon: SBEWD must be remove from the game from the deck and REBD must be returned to the Cimetery at the deck. His effect which give damage equal at the attack of another monster selectionned is really excellent !

Staff Diary Update
It appears they have a FAQ up now. It's about the 3D aspect of the movie.
So the movie is 49 minutes long? I'm disappointed... But this means a lot of contents we wanted to see may be possibly left out. At least it's not 30 minutes long, better than nothing, I suppose.Originally Posted by Machine Translation

Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
So the movie is going to be 49 minutes long...
YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY...
Well, at least is more than what we thinked it would be.
But I think they could gave the movie 10 minutes more at least. There says that its because the 3D animation, but come on! I have seen movies that had been longer and they were in 3D, and the animation doesn't make the eyes tired.
Before the glasses changed yes, but now with the new 3D glasses no.

Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Its sad to hear that the movie is only 49 minutes long, at least the animation will be top natch going by the screen shots, and Sin Blue Eyes is actually white instead of blue, Glad the anime guys and girls didn't make the same mistake over and over again with the movie like the anime did to the point it became something normal. Ala a Blue Eyes White Dragon being blue instead of White.
If your going for burn yes, Sin Blue Eyes on the other hand is a lot better for a quick swarm beat down.Imo

Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Oh shit, well at least it's not 30 minutes... but something like this should be an hour and a half at least.
I fear the Duel against Paradox is going to suck if it's crammed into like 20 minutes. How are they going to show all the preluding stuff as well as the Duel in such a short period of time?
Let's cross our fingers. Maybe it'll end up at least being an hour. Is this 2chan source actually confirmed?
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
It was confirmed in the staff diary. That 2chan quote was just one of the reaction posts about the length of the movie. (The joke was how that person couldn't even finish their popcorn in such a short amount of time.)
And yeah, agreed. This could feel rushed if not executed properly.
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
It cant be 49 minutes long. It's impossbile.Whoever said that, is not telling the truth. That movie should be at least 1 hour and 45 min.
Its not 49 min.No way!!!!
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
I have read theories (NOT RUMORS!) on Newwise BBS and 2chan that the movie could be split into parts, and this is actually the first part. Kind of like the 10th, 11th and 12th Pokemon movies. If that were true, it could get around the "too short" issue, somewhat.

Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Doesn't honestly surprise me. Japan, I think, has a fair amount of its animated films be shorter than what the West is used to, and I believe with these, they sometimes bill them together as part of a Double Feature.
And hey, look at it this way, the shorter, the more they have to do in a smaller amount of time and might create distillation of the story. If you believe in optimism.

Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Ah, I see. I didn't know that Japanese animated films are usually shorter. What do you mean by Double Feature?
Good point. I was thinking of that too, since a lot of things could be done well and effectively in a shorter amount of time, but there's always the danger of rushing things. We could hope they put enough care into the project to pull things off well in 49 minutes.
In that case, I could easily see Paradox getting to Pegasus even in the middle of his duel with the three protags, if he had to.
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
sI think it's more with their bigger name franchises, but I could be wrong (Though I swear I've seen this occur quite a bit) concerning time length. But as to Double Features, uh. You remember Planet Terror and Death Proof?
Basically, sometimes, and I could be completely off on how common this is, but I've seen that franchises by the same studio will with these shorter movies, pair them with another movie of a franchise also run by the same studio, and they run for the length of a more traditional 1 1/2 ~ 2 Hour movie.
One Piece for example ran its first three movie as Double Bills/Double Features with other feature animated films (Though the success of the franchise probably allowed for the longer more western set it.)
... Huh. Maybe it's just a Toei thing, as they seem to have a history of double bills.
---
Though if the movie also includes the duel, I expect this to be rather "Bang bang bang" set up. Though I sadly wouldn't be surprised if the duel took up the majority of the movie. :x

Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
I... have never heard of those two before, but I looked them up. So that's what a Double Feature about. Interesting. If that were the case, though, wouldn't have they announced it in advance?
Even if the duel took up the majority of the movie (it is a movie centered around a card game, after all...), maybe they could get around with the four doing other things during the duel. (Temporarily interrupt it?) Unless they forgot about the part of the fandom wanting other stuff and went down on the "LOOK, A SHINY AND COOL DUEL FOR ALL YOU BOYS" route. ):
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Yeah. I was usually explaining that's what tends to happen with Double Features. Though, this could be entirely by itself. (Though, still odd if its just 49 minutes. o_o)
Yeah, I'd just hope we'd get a little plot with our duel. As long as the story continues with this completely insane 3 on 1 duel, I think it'll be half decent a bit of fun.![]()

49 mins is fine. View it in terms of classic Dr who episodes. 25 min set up story 25 min resolution (if we view stories like Black orchid and Edge of distruction as examples).
