The first kanjis stand for Paradox's name (悖论) while 20代 is a nickname for the grown-up Judai from Season 4. But Heleentje might be able to translate this phrase better than me.

Although the sentence could be read as "Paradox is pursuing Judai with Rainbow Dragon in order to kill him"? In the leaked content, he does announce he's about to erase Judai, anyway...

Comments: AWSM. It also reminds me of the Dragon God from Chrono Cross, which makes it hilarious. The fact that the Sin Gear monster may be used to Synchro Summon(?) it is even more hilarious, because the Dragon God is supposed to be a mechanical construct with the ability to control nature. THE MOVIE IS CHRONO TRIGGER WITH CARD GAMES. (This should make sense for those who played the games. Otherwise, nevermind. :B)

The last monster is either Sin Paradox Dragon or Sin Truth Dragon. I bet it's Sin Paradox Dragon though. ^_^

遊戯王のアニメーションブック買った。必要最低限の事位しか乗ってなかったけど1000円位だから仕方ない ね。
で、アニメブックに映画の大まかな流れとか乗っていたけどとりあえずそれを見て思ったことと今後の映画に備 えての要望を3つほど。

①とりあえず5D'sキャラや5D'sモンスターまんせーはもうやめてくれ
スタッフゆとりだろ。スターダスト・ドラゴンごときが十代を追い詰めたり童実野町を壊滅させ双六のじいちゃ んを死に至らしめたり
時間が限られてるにも関わらず5D'sのメインキャラ全員(ジャック、クロウ、アキ、龍亜、龍可)当然と言 った感じで登場したり
挙句の果てには赤き竜が十代を救う、時を巻き戻し遊戯を救ったのは赤き竜といった赤き竜マンセーなストーリ ー
(赤き竜がどういった存在なのかは分からないけど少なくともオシリスとは関係なさそう。もし関係があった場 合十代や遊星が遊戯を救ったことにはならない)
更には今回の敵キャラであるパラドックスが5D's関係のキャラである(ソースはアニメブックに乗っていた スタッフインタビュー)と言う有様。
せめて劇場版第二弾を作ったときには十代が主役のGXメインのストーリー、第3弾は遊戯が主役のDMメイン のストーリーで作ってくれ。

②次からはサブキャラも作品均等に登場させてくれ。
主人公以外のサブキャラの登場が(前述の通りパラドックスも含めて)5D'sキャラに偏りすぎ ている。
今後の映画は海馬社長やカイザー亮といったライバル級はもちろんのこと城之内や翔といった主人公の親友、杏 子や明日香といったヒロイン、
獏良くんやクロノス先生、牛尾さんと言ったメインとまではいかなくとも重要なサブ、羽蛾やイェーガーと言っ た癖の強いキャラなど
(それこそオールライダー対大ショッカーみたいな)魅力的なサブキャラ同士の競演なども視野に入れて欲しい 。

③キャラだけでなくモンスター達の(デュエル関係無しの)夢の競演も見てみたい
ポケモンの映画の同時上映でやってるような(例えば「ピカチュウの夏休み」とか「ピカチュウのドキドキかく れんぼ」のような)
デュエル関係無しにDM、GX、5D'sでメインで活躍したデュエルモンスターズ達が仲良く競演する作品を やってデュエルモンスターズたちが
ただデュエルで出てくるだけじゃない個性豊かなモンスター達の活躍を見てみたいと思う(例えば「クリボーの 夏休み」とか「ブラマジガールのドキドキかくれんぼ」とか
「ネオスたんけんたい」と言ったような)遊戯王のゲームはデュエルする奴ばっかりだし龍可の精霊世界編のよ うなこういったストーリーも見てみたいと思う。

これらはアニメブックをみて思ったことなので実際の映画で自分がここで書いた事と違うところがあったら自分 は土下座してファンに誤りたいと思う。
それに無理な要求があったらさすがに素直に諦める。とりあえずお願い。

The new scenes from the alternative opening and ending look quite cool and clear. For Judai, I can only say.....OUCH! Tha must've hurt. O_o Thanks for sharing....that's good...especially for people like me who aren't used to watching 5D'S regularly. ^_^

Heh, I was wondering when they were going do something like that. Although I was expecting something more like how Bleach did it with Diamond-Dust Rebellion, by replacing the OP completely with scenes from the movie.

Wow, those scenes looked amazing.

You know... that whole confrontation between Paradox and Judai looked like a battle between ka, as depicted in Ancient Egypt..

One has to wonder..if Paradox can freely manifest his Sin monsters and have them tear up the surrounding area with extreme predjudice, and literally bring Judai close to death, why he even bothers going through the formality of a duel in the first place. Is it a manner of pride? Is he doing it just for lulz? I mean, dude...the guy literally is tearing up Domino City with his cards. How the heck do you even stand up to that?

Wow at the scenes used in the opening/ending, seems they did add the effects that'd be good for 3-D.

Paradox skimming down on the side to cause sparks. Junk Synchron and Junk Warrior flying through some sort of explosion as Yusei rides behind, Synchro Summoning Stardust Dragon (which has MORE glittery stardust than ever before for 3-D) Though seems they reused the animation when Yusei summons Stardust Dragon back in the 2nd opening. Granted, 5D's does that alot so eh.

According to Kazama, Yugi's VA, he'll be playing a "supporting role". We've yet to see the details of it, however.

Ummmmm.....I absolutely don't want to hear something like this. Truly he'll appear a little bit later in the movie, but this doesn't mean he'll play a "supporting role". Only the movie will reveal the truth, so let's not discuss this, ok. ^_^

I believe 49 minutes is the final and confirmed length. The same is stated on the Japanese Wikipedia, which is fairly accurate for YGO related pages.

I'm still disapointed about the movies length. My opinion, it should be just a 5D's movie, 49 mins long and have a completly different plot to it also. Then save this plot with Paradox and the 3 protagonists coming together for a full length movie (around 1 Hr 30 mins) and add more scenes into it. But lets see how good people say this movie is.

Is this because both companies have differing opinions on what counts as a page, or because of the printing, or...? *confused*

EDIT: I went through the special 5D's OP frame by frame, and:

It's a bit hard to see, but it seems that the mansion where Paradox is fighting with Judai is actually in the middle of a city. I suppose that throws my theory on the mansion being Pegasus' out of the window. (To be fair, it would've been too big even for him, although that doesn't change the fact that someone will have a heart attack over all the damage caused to the building.)

9 pages ? Probably Amazon don't count first page, Index and 2-3 last page where appears title, place where the books was printed.

Well, I don't really care whether it's 135 or 146 pages. The fact that the book is over 100 pages is quite odd in itself. O_o If all these pages contain scenes, setteis and summaries about the movie....well, then...that's gonna be just awesome. ^_^

That's true.

I wonder if this is like that character guide the Kanzenban Release of Shaman King had (I recall seeing a redone artwork for most of the characters and a brief description of them), but Ryusaki would know it better than me. XD

The blurb (not the caption) next to the picture with Paradox and the ruined landscape:

The world's destruction is caused by Duel Monsters, the right future, [...] because of that [Paradox] is here to change the past.

So we have it confirmed that the future is FUBAR because of Duel Monsters, and that the picture very likely shows Paradox in that ruined future.
