I've watched that trailer damn near 10 times. And I still can't get over how much EPIC WIN it's made of. The animation just blows away my mind.

Never before have I see Yugi's transformation look so well done.

Well it's official. This movie, no matter how bad the storyline, will beat the shit out of the first two movies.

It really is top-notch animation!

If anything, at least I can just stare at this movie when it comes out for the eye candy.
And the mouth movements specifically, more than just lip-flapping, which shows the effort to details.

Quoted for truth. That Yugi to Atem transformation was awesomely well-done, Judai's eye-changing was also awesome since his desu eyes look a bit more like real eyes, and Yusei's birthmark glowing and the Crimson Dragon showing up... And that place Paradox was in really did seem post-apocalyptic, and I'm kind of a sucker for that. XD

And yeah, there's also them actually moving their mouths when they speak, which you don't really see much in the series unless it's Hara or Kagami, the latter just happening to be animating this movie, so that's a plus. I can't wait to see all the action scenes in this thing, lol.

All in all, even if the plot sucks (which I'm hoping doesn't, but it's looking promising, from what I've seen), the animation is definitely going to be one of the things this movie's remembered for.

Stardust Dragon wearing Paradox Armor looks amazing
I wonder if its name is going to change considering its looks have greatly changed, also i wonder if the effect has become the opposite of the regular Stardust dragon...

The trailer looks amazing, also i have a strange idea about Paradox that he may represent both light and darkness considering the mask he's wearing

Considering were shown both Blue-Eyes White Dragon and Red Eyes Black Dragon which were altered

The Dark Magician might be wearing lighter armor if my guess is correct from the next episode

The Purple glow might be "Shining Darkness"....

I just don't want it to be one of those things that hypes you up and then suddenly becomes a failure to the masses ala Shenmue.

Personally, among the internet, it seems to me that the more hype a big movie/video-game gets before release, the more backlash it will fall victim to. I kind of like when movies and video-games are quietly released, lol.

Seeing Judai again with Yubel by his side is an awesome come back for me to see. Plus seeing Atemu and Yusei with the Crimson Dragon is epic! ^^

The animation is top quality in this movie! Much more then I would expect, but it just blew me away from its epicness! XD

Very intense trailer, seeing how Paradox took all this into account to his plan and it looks to be hes trying to erase the DM's from history in each time period so they won't exist. He must really hate them to go t through time warp everywhere. >.>;

I heard from a friend and did some research of my own and found out that makemagic is being sung by Paradox's VA.

Impressive! Now, 7 weeks left to count down the official release. As stated before, this movie, regardless of the level of story, will devastate the previous movies even further.

Although I was fine with the very 1st movie, before Duel Monsters took over.

Well, Stardust has proved to be the third monster. Once this dragon is third, that means the most impressive monster Paradox possess, has yet to be shown and that we are not good fortune-tellers. After all this excitement about the new trailer and the third new monster, I can only conclude that nothing about this film is not what it seems at first glance. I think we made a mistake by underestimating the story and we have yet to see the best.

Hm, I can see that happening. Isn't Tamura-san one of the London Boots(the comedy group)? Also, I just realized that this is the second VA from Eyeshield 21 to do a 5D's production, the first being Jack's VA who did Juumonji, another Deimon Devilbat from ES21, just like Hiruma. It's funny because in ES21 Juumonji was on a linebacker, playing for defense, and now as Jack Atlas, Takanori Hoshino is voicing a character who plays offense.

Ah, after some research of my own, it seems that your right, and Jealkb is a band of comedians with Atsushi Tamura being the lead singer, lol. Also fun fact, if you move the "ビー"(bii) to the front of Jealkb it becomes Visual Kei (ビージュアルケー biijuarukee)-From Wikipedia.

Stardust looks a lot better than the art of the other two, probably since it isn't edited art from early 2000.

Hmm. But if you remember, the scene with Judai on the roof had a similar timing. (10:10:38:09) So after Yusei meets Judai, they go to Yugi's time, according to the timers...

But the confusing part is Paradox with the burning mansion area. Yusei, Judai are there (maybe Yugi as well?) but Yusei is on his bike. His helmet and bike are not seen when they confront Paradox. (Although he could've just parked nearby, but I don't see why he would do that.)

But I'm getting a bit confused by the timeline. It seems to go as 5D's -> GX -> DM, where they would duel Paradox, all three of them. But Paradox is seen at the burning mansion with Judai and Yusei (Pegasus' past?). But if the grandfather paradox were to occur (the three turning black with the glass shatter effect, maybe?) then at least it should result in a messed up future, if not the destruction of reality. (Paradoxes in fiction are fickle like that, and their damage depends on the writer, really.) But that doesn't explain Domino City everyone is in, then. Shouldn't that be ruined, in that case? Or perhaps Judai (with Yubel) or Yusei (with the Crimson Dragon) ended up in Pegasus' time, where Pegasus would get killed, but then the two somehow manipulate time and jump back to the DM period where Paradox may have inflicted that "bad event" on Yugi and duel Paradox right there. (Time travel versus time travel versus time versus reality... meep.)

Because, from the very beginning, GX wanted to be Rozen Maiden - and only now that the series is over is it finally able to fully come to terms with the identity crisis which had plagued it so.

It was never confirmed. The only clue we know of is "Orders to kill the creator of Duel Monsters". We don't know who gave the order, but Paradox would want to travel back in time and steal cards for a reason. If I'm right, even the "Paradox wants to destroy Duel Monsters to save his future" is a speculation as well. (Although the scene with Paradox looking over a desolated, ruined land could possibly confirm the "came from a ruined future" part.) Now, if we assume Paradox truly wanted to destroy Duel Monsters, he'd have to kill Pegasus in the past.

I assumed it may have been Pegasus' mansion because it doesn't look like Godwin's mansion (a candidate, but it is similar to, but not quite the same), Domino Museum (I went by the Pyramid of Light version, since I know we get a good view of it there. Similar but not the same one, either.) or Kaiba's mansion. Granted, we never got a good view of Pegasus' mansion (in the manga and R we did, but I still need to check), and the shot in episode 85 isn't the most impressive one. The horse statue is what clued me in, somewhat. Albeit it was in the anime only, but Pegasus actually had a Pegasus symbol on one of the doors in his castle in Duelist Kingdom, and in Reshef of Destruction, there were two horse statues in front of his castle.

But if Pegasus' mansion were to be an important location, then I could see it getting revamped design-wise just for that.

Paradox's Duel Disk is glowing in that scene, so I guessed it was because of Pegasus getting killed, thus it was about to vanish. He has no cards played in his Duel Disk (but still has his deck), and Judai and Yusei are looking at him with a shocked face.

Ultimately, I think that any kind of analysis and speculation will be much more easier if someone who understands Japanese, employs to translate the words of the characters from the trailer. This would throw little light on Paradox's intentions after all. Personally I'm tired of guessing all the time.

I still am not sure that Pegasus will actually be killed in this.
Its more possible that the 3 mains will also protect him not only get back their cards.
I need a translation of that trailer to have more logical speculations.

Man the trailer was just epic. So I guess Little Yugi will be in it too since I saw a bit of him before he transformed, which is cool cuz I like the little guy. Man I can't wait for this movie

and paradox says something like "farewell (what's that word?) Duelists" then Yusei says: "Our future is... in ruins"

Yami Yugi says something about won't let Paradox interfere in the lives of the people of the future.
And Judai says that he is excited to beat him. (Paradox)
