Paradox's first line is about an event that allowed him to cross over [time]. The second one is "Goodbye, generations of duelists in the past!"

I think the event might have to do something with the person or entity that gave him the order to kill the creator of Duel Monsters. The second line, along with the imagery of the three protagonists' images, somewhat suggests that either Paradox's succeeded at his mission, or that he travelled further into the past, leaving the duelists behind. (Taking into consideration that the voiceover and the frames didn't occur at the same time.)

My theory is the rather obvious one:

All three are individually beaten (the clips show them basically losing) and Paradox succeeds in stealing all the important cards. I'm sure he stole Stardust, Neos and Black Magician, but I think the reason we haven't seen any sign of characters like Jounouchi or Kaiba is because Paradox beat them and stole their cards. I think they will appear in the movie briefly at least.

The japanese info includes the name of the corrupted dragon (something like: Sin Darkness White Dragon) and his special abilty.

Seems like the Earthbounds, the Sin cards need a Field Spell to remain on the field. I'm guessing that's where that SIN WORLD comes in.

Also, on the real card you need to remove the real Blue Eyes from play...perhaps, prior to the big 3-way duel, Paradox will steal Blue Eyes, Red Eyes, and the other Sin Monsters from their respective owners?

It's very interesting ! Effects monsters are similars at Uru and others Nazca Lines's monsters.

Sin Wold effect can be something like: "While this card is on the field, monsters with "Sin" in their name card can be summoned." And perhaps a second effect like for Uru and others: "If a monster with "Sin" in his card name isn't on the field, this card is destroyed"

Perhaps this second effect doesn't appears: usually, the vilain owns powerfuls cards.

This field seems shows Paradox will fight Yugi, Judai and Yusei in a regular duel, a classical duel.

Sin monsters seems like an interesting concept. But the problem with them is that you would need to the original copy of the sin monster in your deck. I wonder what additional effects they will have if any. I don't know why I'm getting a feeling that Sin World will be some what similar to Clear World.

Hmm, the Sin monsters sound fascinating. I like this concept! I think Sin World would represent Paradox's time, all the suffering and sadness contained in that one card. In a sense, Paradox's time and Sin World could be the one and the same... but that means that the destruction of Duel Monsters can't lead to a ruined future. It would be a future without Duel Monsters, thus dueling in that world would be impossible, unless the three protagonists and Paradox would be affected by some kind of an immunity, allowing them to not have the changes apply to them.

However, this could mean that the destruction of Duel Monsters would result in reality destroyed, possibly. The above immunity could be somehow achieved by having Paradox actually travel back in an alternate universe of the past, preserving the original timeline and have the changes occur only in this alternate timeline. But from Paradox's view, that would be useless, because his time in the original timeline would meet its end, anyway. (Unless he's satisfied by the thought of creating an alternate timeline where Duel Monsters doesn't exist.)

Alternately, the multiple universes hypothesis would kick in, meaning there would be an universe without Duel Monsters and one where it still stayed.

Oh, and for any of you TV Tropes people out there: Yu-Gi-Oh Tenth Anniversary Movie Have at it. :]

That second effect wouldn't make sense: you cannot summon Sin monsters without Sin World, and you cannot play Sin World without a Sin monster. Is a contradiction.

I'm just kidding, I see what you mean. With that effect, it would be impossible to activate Sin World in the first place and you couldn't even summon the proper monsters for it.

Stardast was considered to be one of the coolest monsters and was expected to be the 9th or even 10th spectacular monster in the movie , but now it is only the third one. Who knows how impressive the other 6 monsters will be , not to mention the 10th one. The names of the monsters sound mysterious to me, what I really like. I'm convinced that their effects will be also interesting and impressive.

Yes I wish they updated the dairy more, especially since were so close to the movie coming out.

Hmm... do you mean something like Duelist Kingdom!Toon World? In that arc, Toon World worked differently from its TCG counterpart. When it was on the field, it could transform any monster on Pegasus' side of the field into a Toon Monster. When Toon World was destroyed, the monsters would turn back to normal.

So in Sin World's case, are you thinking that Sin World's disappearance would cause Sin Blue-Eyes to turn back to normal, thus re-summon the regular Blue-Eyes on the field?

I didn't thought at Toon World. Your idea is good: a monster Dark who turn in Light and vice versa, it reveals also a paradox: Dark become Light and Light become Dark. It once again confirms what the theme song will be and is said jsut a liitle bit for it.

Yeah, nothing new, really. It also talks about the "previous notice" (Trailer? The song itself?) which showed a glimpse of Paradox's strength and the three protagonists.

I'm still giggling over Paradox wearing his Duel Disk on his right arm, making him left-handed. Yay for lefties!

Random Fridge Logic moment: If Paradox is referred to as the greatest/most powerful opponent, would that put every other opponent below him? *dodges rocks* Granted, time travelers can be extremely dangerous due to their unpredictability...

It does make you wonder why doesn't he just travel straight to Pegasus' past and do the deed. I suppose his time travel powers are limited and he can power himself up only with the Duel Monsters cards of powerful duelists. Maybe it's just like Chrono Trigger: Crono and his team could try defeating Lavos as soon as they get to the End of Time (if I recall correctly), but they are too weak for him at that point. Paradox couldn't be able to go to Pegasus' past right away because he'd need to gain (additional) powers/energy first. Or however he gets to time travel in the first place (he said he could cross over time because of an incident) wasn't effective enough so he didn't make it too far.

I like when the main villain's intentions are completely bizarre and unsolvable. The new trailer only further complicated the things, but Paradox became one of the most interesting and amazing villains in the history of all three series. I hope the reason to pursue the three main characters won't be so simple and comprehensible to everyone.

I saw Pegasus in a negative shot, but am not sure if its a portrait of him or he is really in a coffin.

Also saw Crow and Jack and they had lines too.

And WOW the first left handed(meaning he draws with his left) duelist in all the 3 shows. The righ hand Duel Disk on Misawa's arm in 1 of the GX openings doesn't count X).

Though that is suspicious, is Misawa actually Paradox XD ?

It's a shot of Pegasus from the second part of Mai and Yugi's duel at Duelist Kingdom (an episode that Kagami actually animated.)

When I watched the trailer, my thoughts were, "Is this the Jump Festa trailer?" because of some of the lines and events occurring in the trailer. Or, well, the Jump Festa trailer mixed up with that recent one.

So all those "speculations" about Paradox's motive turned out to be true. Good stuff!

But this is awesome, yesss. And I want that part with Paradox playing that dark in the flaming area in high quality.

When Xray told me Pegasus is in it, I expected an actual clip of him. Damn. XD

I suppose this confirms Jack's and Crow's appearance, then.

This movie...just this movie... Ok I love the animation but the story....lol wut? So not only does Yugi have tiem magiks but Judai gains it and Yusei too? Wut? As for the new trailer....YAY JACK! Now I really demand my teaser trailer opening and ending theme.

There were too many emotions for me with these two trailers. The 3D animation looks great, but the additional scenes from the movie are simply stunning. As I suspected, Jack will appear at the outset. Didn't only assume that Crow will be there too. Now I am convinced that the movie won't be only 30 minutes long. It is simply impossible. I'm glad that I saw the three main characters together. It was cute and friendly scene, while Judai looks optimistic as always for everything. I can't hide that I was and still am little worried disappointed when I saw the new trailer, but I will save this trouble for myself. I hope to see at least one more such trailer till the official premiere of the movie.
