Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Interesting. So with that being Joey's REBD, it pretty much confirms that he's stealing cards from everybody. I must see this, BF vs Lightsworn duel. Battle of the uberly brokens.

Do you know, whether comes the freinds from Yuugi, Judai in the movie, too? Jack and Crow comes in the movie...and how example Anzu, Honda, Sho, too?
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Okay...its a pity...but thanks for your quick reply ^^
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Rua and Ruka were also confirmed by their voice actors. I have no knowledge of anyone else spilling the beans apart from official announcements.
On which note, Jirou (Pegasus' VA) still hasn't said a word about his role in that "anime" he mentioned. He's either told to not say a thing, or he's been hired for an anime series. To be honest, if that was the case, I wouldn't mind. Would be cool to hear him in a non-Pegasus role.
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
reason why Honda probably isn't in the movie.
He got in a fist fight with the directors saying.
"My Voice gives me super strength"
And Tea rambled about friendship for about half a day.
Taking this into consideration they were probably like.
We should avoid putting them in.

It seems XYZ Dragon Cannon got his hands on the information about purchasing tickets.
There will be a "stage greeting" with the four VAs and... "Procambarus clarkii (Chairperson)". ...Wait, that's Jeager's VA.
Anyway, the whole thing is below.

Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Wooh~ 12 more days. Would it be amusing if the top duelists of all time were Yugi, Judai, and Yuusei?
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Isn't that a well-known fact in general? I mean, Yugi is the top duelist of all time in DM's and GX's period (according to Pegasus and other people). Judai is his academia's top student, saved his school several times. Yusei is the King after the Fortune Cup and the "Protector of Neo Domino City".
The movie preview is 5 days away, actually. Another new monster (Yugi's) should be revealed tomorrow!

About that new noes fusion card.
Will it be Elemental Hero Neos + Black Luster Soldier?

Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Personally, I won't be willing to see another "Magician" version. I've seen enough - from Yugi, from the Pharaoh....not to mention the PoL movie. Enough new magicians for me. I want something different this time......something completely new and cool....even if it's not so typical for Yugi/Dark Yugi's deck.
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Good point. Maybe a warrior monster like Chaos Soldier or Buster Blader? A fiend like Summoned Demon?Or a draqon monster to further fuel the dragon fetish theme of the movie?Or a toy monster as I mentioned above, like the ones Yugi used in R.
But eh, it's coming tomorrow, whatever it shall be! Maybe the writers will surprise us... I mean, they did so with Judai's and Yusei's monsters. On a second thought, I don't know if that would be good... XD

Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Most likely they'll add a dragon just as Arynis mentioned, to fuel the sense of 'dragons'. Now that I think about it, Atem doesn't have any dragons to himself besides Curse of Dragon. I mean, Yugi has Gondora but that's in his own deck while as Atem and Yugi use a single deck together. So, highly sure it'll be a new dragon.
By the by, their new ultimate card they'll use together, that card has to come from someone's DECK right? I mean, from whose do you think? Well probably Judai's because his Neos come out of NOWHERE to Contact Fusion and such.
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
It's been a long time since Black Magician got anything. I'd welcome something new for him, honestly. He really does deserve it.

Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Agreed. It would be nice to see Black Magician with his manga colour scheme too, for some reason. All adverts so far suggest that the movie will be pretty much the anime but with nicer animation, but I for one would like to see some sort of defining features -- sort of like Kaiba having his actual hair colour in the Toei movie.Originally Posted by JACK_ATLUS
Also, Devil Dragon and Silver Fang. Yugi's deck is just incredibly entertaining. Man, this movie's too short but I know what I want to see.

Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Ok, ok, I may agree seeing another "Magician" card in Yugi's deck, but only if the Egyptian Gods make appearance. x) I can't even describe how much I miss these monsters. (cry) I don't have any intention to watch the Crimson Dragon as the most powerful monster in all the movie.

Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Unless Paradox stole the Egyptian God cards, I think the likelihood of seeing them appear is extremely high. They are the ultimate trump monsters.
FYI, the Crimson Dragon isn't a card per se, but it seems heavily implied that "Savior Dragon" is a sort of chibified, card incarnation of the Crimson Dragon proper. When used as a Tuner with one of the Five Dragons, it unlocks the dragon's true potential and allows the Crimson Dragon to work through the synchro dragon, and that's how we get a "Savior" monster.
But anyways, I think a new Dark Magician of some kind is long over due. Anyone saying they've had enough of him is ridiculous.... There hasn't been a new Dark Magician card since Dark Eradicator Warlock in 2005. And that wasn't even played by Yugi. The last, completely new, Dark Magician card played by Yugi was was Sorcerer of Black Magic that was used in the YGO Pyramid of Light movie back in 2004. So no. Dark Magician is long over do for some new blood. Hell, if Gearfried, Red Eyes, and Blue Eyes can get some new theme support, then I don't see why Dark Magician has to be forgotten for 5 to 6 years.
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Y'know, I'd like to see a Synchro Dark Magician debut at some point.
Since Synchro Cards, along with Fusions, have been quite often shown to not *actually* exist unless summoned (none of the series it seems ever can decide on this, can they?), I wouldn't mind perhaps Yugi tuning his Dark Magician with one of Yusei's Tuners to create a new one. Be a nice way to show Yugi adapting one of the new game mechanics, and have the protagonists working together.
Why.It would be nice to see Black Magician with his manga colour scheme too, for some reason
Green skin and blond hair is ugly. Purple haired Dark Magician was my first card, so I might be biased...but still...
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Wait, what? Was it really that long ago? Holy crap, I didn't know. o_O
On a second thought, you guys are right. A Dark Magician related card would also make sense, he was Atem's most important card (along with Dark Magician Girl) after the God cards, after all. I kind of forgot about that...
Speaking of Dark Magician, the folks over Newwise BBS were speculating about him because of Takahashi's anniversary artwork (the one from the anniversary pack). I'm not sure if they were speculating him being a Sin monster candidate (which is unlikely by this point) or him appearing in the movie and using that design (but they are using the Starter Deck Yugi one in the movie).
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
THIS x100. I'd love that. That's basically what I'm hoping for too. A synchro Dark Magician would be awesome. "Turbo Dark Magician." Or maybe..."Hyper Dark Magician." Or hell, why not..."Junk Dark Magician." XDDDDD
His skin was more blue but...no! I much prefer my undead looking Dark Magician, kthnx.Why.
Green skin and blond hair is ugly. Purple haired Dark Magician was my first card, so I might be biased...but still...
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Well, I don't mean it has to actually be related to a Tuner Yusei uses, although I wouldn't mind a steam-punk DM.
But just a Synchro version of Dark Magician. Y'know, "1 Tuner + Dark Magician".

Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
I would love to see both a Tuner Black Magician AND Black Magician Girl, although BM is the one most in need of a new form.
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Fusion, Ritual, and Synchro cards have all been seen as actual cards in all three series. I think the only place where they seem to just "appear" was the original manga, the GX anime when Judai uses Super Fusion (or when the Sengenma were fused) and maybe the 5D's manga.
I always thought the blonde Black Magician was "cooler" than the purple one way back in my 4Kids days. It was the first card I ever went on a "hunt" for, and is still my favorite card to this day, so I can understand the bias. XD
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Well, they have been seen as actual cards once they were played, but rarely before that are they shown anywhere else unless important to the plot. It always seems they just pop out of thin-air, especially more so when it's a cross-character fusion (B. Skull Dragon/Rainbow Neos) and it's one of those things I was and am weirded out by, but at the same time never minded much. Kind of let it slide since these have always been some of my favorite cards, sensible or not.
Also, the "evil" Dark Magician is pretty bad-ass too.
Although my favorite Yugi monster was probably Summoned Skull. Hmmmm...come to think of, I've generally liked all of the main characters' monsters. Hope each character uses a lot of the cool, lesser ones like Curse of Dragon, Gilfer, Valkyrion, Necroman, Dandelion, Card Trooper, Quick Synchron, Nitro Warrior, ect. I think I'd be more excited to see them than the main characters' big ones.

Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
In the manga there were no "Fusion cards", the material monsters just stayed there in their duel disks as if polymerization was equipped to them, of course they changed this in the anime for the sake of the card game.
So yeah, the fusions are supposed to pop out of nowhere, but i understand if they contradict themselves with this.
Synchros are different, the actual card actually exists, the only ones that appear magically are Savior Dragon and the like, but that's clearly just the power of the Crimson Dragon.
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
We see the fusion cards on tables and floors when the characters are making their decks. I'm pretty sure we actually see Kaiser slap Chimeratech Overdragon on his duel disk in the first Hell Kaiser episode.
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
In the original manga, the cards do indeed stay on the Duel Disk/table. (Also, in R, since it was an adjunct to the original manga and followed its rules.) However, in the DM anime, DM GX anime, and 5D's, a card is used to represent Fusions. Also, in the GX manga, it's done this way as well. (Of course, the duels in the GX manga stray away from the original manga's rules.)

Monster of the week (Monster #8):
Spoiler: Saving space
Caption of the second picture: "Tuner Monster of the Sin series?!"
Looks like a Gadget monster. Heh, and I didn't see that coming. So it's Paradox's monster, not Yugi's. Interesting, so Paradox's ace monster might be a Synchro monster?

Huh
what an odd card this week.
Didnt see it well either so I sant quite tell who would use it... might be Paradox's
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
XYZ Dragon Cannon at Newwise BBS speculates that Paradox's signature card would be a clock monster.
On a second thought, that makes a lot more sense than the Sin monsters getting tuned. XD Well, we are talking about time travel here... Time.
