Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
All translationrs I used to translate the name of that thing (Sinマックスウォリアー ) made me even more disappointed and twice more confused.
It's supposed to be something like "Sin Makkusuworia" or "Sin Makkusuuoria". (Ohhh...what an abnormal name.)
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Well isn't that the cutest, biggest, bundle of fail..!
Huh. They got some spare parts from a clock, welded them together, and called it a tuner. That's great.
....Yeah. Let's hope that last card is a good one.
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Are you talking about Post 314 on 2chan, Lia?
The 7th card had the caption "Yusei's new monster?!" so it follows it cannot be a Sin monster, which are Paradox's cards. Why would Yusei use a Sin monster, anyway? Not to mention the monster in question doesn't follow the "Sin" patterns at all - no mask, no wings (or well, whatever would be in the wings' place). And the Yusei monster had no name specified, simply called "Yusei's new monster".
Besides, they could be simply speculating (or making it up again). Also, look at the timestamp of that post - 5D's was not running at the time (in fact, it was before the broadcast) so it couldn't have talked about the new Sin Tuner either.

Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
I just wonder if it will come out as a promo
as a specific tuner for Sinstardust
(Ick..)
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Sorry but these monsters are getting wierder each time. And the kinda look terrible. I'm pretty disapointed with these and i think the middle card wont be as epic as we might think it is
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
I think the monster quality took a nose dive with the Neos fusion, personally. And yeah, I'm not having high hopes for that last card now, either.
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Regardless of the cards directly, I'm still anxious to see how the three mains (Yusei, Yugi, Judai) work together and if/how their cards 'meld'. Three different game styles...into one?!

Probably because there is synchros, but they are just showing the monsters he captured and turned into Sin monsters.Originally Posted by lilim

So now I'm confused, reading Lia's post.
Was the monster shown last week a monster belonging to Yusei? Or is it Sin-Max Warrior?
Was the Neos-Chaos Soldier fusion the only monster shown to belong to the heroes?

Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Wow... lol, that card is a real brain buster. I'm gonna wait till we get some confirmation before speculating here...
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Thought it was supposed to be a new Gadget-related card myself.
I don't mind it's design though, as it fits with the Tuner thing imo.

Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Okay...but where does the whole "Sin-Max Warrior" name come from? This week, or last week's monster?
Senior Member
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
No doubt, the Neos is Judai's monster.
Last week's monster, the caption was "Yusei's new monster?!", which confirms it as Yusei's monster.
This week's monster's caption is "Tuner Monster of the Sin series". The Sin cards belong to Paradox, which should make it clear.
Nothing is stopping Paradox from using a Synchro monster, or a monster that seems "off" from his deck type. After all, Relinquished wasn't a Toon monster, either. Perhaps Paradox's signature monster is an unique Sin monster which requires tuning and Synchro summon.
I don't think that would make sense. According to a post XYZ Dragon Cannon posted sometime ago on their forum, the 2channers (albeit in a different thread) expected Yugi's monster to appear. Maybe someone was late to the show and guessed what may last week's monster have been?
Besides, weren't some people saying here how last week's monster looks like Max Warrior? That would further support my above statement.

Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Anyway.........I guess we have to watch the movie to see what's the deal with all these monsters.
By the way.......the next event in the movie schedule was on january 15th I think (1月15日 ジャンフェス公開収録取材レポート) Someone has any idea what it'll be about?
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
I still hope we see a fusion between the 3 ace cards of Yugi, Judai, and Yusei.
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
It's talking about the Jump Festival and their "coverage report". On the schedule list, this event is listed under JumBANG!. After all, JumBANG! is covering the Jump Festival now, on this Friday they should be airing "Jump Festival (Part 2)" in their programme.
I won't be around this Friday to watch it or record it, however. Considering how last week's coverage didn't tell us anything new, I doubt we'd get much out of this week's coverage, but eh, I don't know.
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Hopefully it's a badass Machine Tuner, (*crosses fingers") and doesn't have a Savior Dragon-style restriction.
Anyway, I like it.
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
l predict that there will be no fusions between yusei+yugi, yugi+jaden or something like that. And yugi will save the day![]()

Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Current theory:
The big bad is actually Time Wizard, the monster is uber pissed that Jou only used him in duelist kingdom and then it never got support of any kind despite being one of the few first Effect Monsters in the series. And being used by Leo in 5D's was what made him snap. Paradox will tune that, clock thing, with 3 of teh SIN monsters to create:
Ultimate Supreme Wizard Of Time And Space, a time wizard with the power of removing from play the top 35 cards on the oponent's deck and their entire field.
You know that makes more sense than whatever Paradox will do. XD

Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
Well, didn't expect that..
But, does seem twisted and not like most Tuners where they're small and are midget-abominations of nature. So I guess no new cards for Yugi? Bleh, then its like the duel between Judai and Yugi all over if he isn't gonna use new cards. Just hope its not gonna be a sort of duel that merely shows off his old cards. Well, I honestly hope that maybe Paradox's Synchro monster has the power to defeat all 3's main strategies with their aces. Like against Judai's Neos, perhaps negate a Special Summon once a turn. Against Stardust, maybe negate the Releasing of a card. Against Black Magician? Uhmm..er, have higher ATK?
Anyway you get my point. Facing against something like that gives a better reason for all three to combine their monsters. Still, as said above, the creativity on the new monsters are really bad, I won't be suprised if it'll be like how the 3 Gods combined in POL (Neos grows into a giant while holding Black Magician's staff in one hand and Stardust becoming something similar to Armory Arm) I REALLY won't be suprised..
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
9 days until the movie!
Can a gal get a hell yeah? (yeah I know, cheesy Abridged reference)
I wonder if this will be dubbed in English, or if someone will fandub it. I would try, but I suck at mixing + stuff, haha. XD
I was kind of disappointed... I mean, where's Yugi's card? And why is it in the center? ...Well, when you think about it, Yugi is the King of Games, so technically he's the most powerful out of them all...

Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
It won't be online anytime soon. You can expect it when the DVD is released. At most, we can hope for summaries and reviews for now.
So I was thinking about the movie's cards from a meta view. Would the protagonists' trump card really be a 3-way fusion?
Let's assume the fusion would consist of Dark Magician, Neos and Stardust Dragon. (I'm not saying this will happen, I'm just setting up the example here.) Dark Magician isn't normally used unless it's a Dark Magician or a Spellcaster deck or a Normal Monster(?) deck. Neos is also a Normal Monster, but isn't he normally used in a Neo Spacian deck (or whatever deck is based around Neos)? Stardust Dragon is slightly easier since it only needs a Tuner and any monster to summon it (and there are a few cards out there which make it easier summon). In the protagonists' case, it would be indeed easy to summon such a fusion because their decks are separated and still work nicely on their own. However, putting all three cards in one deck would be less easier. So if the movie's purpose is to, ahem, promote cards, wouldn't they go for something more useable? Granted, not that is stopped them from releasing insane cards. Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon (requiring Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon) and the Sphinx monsters (requiring Pyramid of Light) come to mind. And looking at reviews, it's not like the Sin monsters are highly praised, either...
Yusei at one point mentions that "All our monsters are revived!" (See Anison Plus+ November 9 segment), which would hint at their to-be-fused monster revived or their signature monsters revived, or just whatever monsters they had on the field previously revived. But the staff diary also speculated on "Super Fusion"'s meaning in the title, wondering what they really mean with that. (As in, a metaphorical sense?) We'll see.
Of course, my views on the TCG field are really outdated (I stopped following the card game years ago), but I thought I'd share it nonetheless. It's just a thought I had. Maybe someone more familiar with the current TCG situation could correct me. XD

Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
A Fusion between the three monsters is indeed not meta-material, but more than half of every set is probably also never going to be used in the meta anyway, I can imagine the purpose of these cards being for collector's only, after all Neos Wiseman, Rainbow Neos, heck, Savior Star Dragon are really difficult to use (But nothing stops you from doing decks based on them for FUN). Of course, if in fact, there's a three-way fusion, I expect it to be utterly broken at the very least. And we really only know for sure the effect of two Sin Monsters, we haven't seen any images of the others so far, there's still potential.
I play always cards with my brother.
Dark Magician is playable in Normal Deck, Spellcaster Deck or simply in Dark Magician Deck. He can be played with others decks but he must fits.
Neos can be played in Neo Spacian Deck, Normal deck and Warrior Deck. Also in other deck he must fits in.
If the Super Fusion is the fusion between each ace monster of Yugi, Judai and Yusei, there the problem of the requirements. For the moment, no Synchro Monster has never used like Fusion Material for a Fusion Summon. A fusion between Neos and Dark Magician can be possible because there are each Normal Monster. If you Fusion Summon from the field, they must be each get by Advanced Summon. If they Fusion Summon from the hand, the two monster must be in the player's hand. A Fusion like this is possible even in Tag Duel because each player can see the hand of his partner.
Other problem: the special ability of this Fusion. With Judai, a link is seen for certain Fusion Elemental Heroes between the name of the monster and this ability for Elemental Heroes. For example, Thuder Giant, which the first element is the thunder has the special ability to destroy a monster with less original attacks points than he. His ability hit like the thunder. Flame Wingman burn opponent Life's Points and one of meterial monster Fusion is Burst Lady. For other, there no link between Fusion Monster's special ability and the Material Monster Fusion. For his Neos Deck, his Fusion are often Neos and another Neo Spacian. Here, when Neos is Fusion Material, the Fusion Monster Summoned own often the special ability of the other Fusion Material. For example, Neos + Flare Scarab = Flare Neos, who gains the special aility of Flare Scarab.

Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
I wonder what the tenth card will be.
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
The tenth card could be sin world or the fusion of neos, dark magician, and stardust.
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
LOL. That made my day. (even if I've only been awake for 10 minutes. XD)
Over here, there'd be 8 days to the movie.
...
But it's longer than that. Eh. (I DON'T KNOW HOW LONG I CAN STAND IT.)
And yeah... first Neos, now this... I don't even know what kind of monster it is(sorry, only been a YGO fan for 2-3 months), but they're just getting really unattractive.

The last card should be a synchro monster, since this is a tuner
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Special
UltramanZero89 on Youtube managed to edit together a 2 minute version of makemagic from the music video of the song. Damn, this is getting me hyped up for the full version, which is getting released on the 20th! The song is totally awesome.
EDIT: The source video was from here, it seems. You can watch the music video there. Now I can see how the song was edited together, too.
Does that mean writing a proper lyrics translation is possible now? I'd still love to know what the song is exactly about...

Wow, the song sounds good! I'm impressed the person was able to do such a thing though, guess its what we can expect when the CD is released and in the movie. ^_^
