Thread: Stupid Anime Details: Battle City

  1. Default Re: Stupid Anime Details: Battle City

I don't know if anybody has said this because I didn't want to bother reading every post before I made a short post. In the Anime, The Duel Disks have two modes: Standby and Active. In the Manga they are always active and there is no Magic/Trap Slot like the Anime Disk.
Also, in the early duels like Yugi vs the Rare Hunter in the Anime, holo-imagers were launched from the disks before a battle.

When that kid that worked for Haga stole the duel disk of Jounuchi,Jounuchi was in a restaurant and he take it out for not bothering the other costumers, then the kid stole it, but in the anime, that kid was asking for an autograph of Jounuchi and then he stole it while Jounuchi was signing.

Yep. There are just five front slots on the Manga Duel Disk, and Monsters and Magics and Traps are placed in this zone. At first I didn't notice this, but when I was reading Yugi's Duel with The Rare Hunter in the Manga, they showed a close-up of Yugi setting his cards and Yugi played a face down card(Polymerization) on the front slot of the Duel Disk where he put his Monster(Gazelle, The King of Mythical Beasts). So, in the Manga, there is just a single row to place cards of any type. Also, Berfomet was changed to a 5 Star Monster in the Anime and was given the ability of adding Gazelle to the hand once he's summoned. Neither of these were present in the Manga.
