There's also using YamiDomaGX's site, Horoko, and also requesting episodes. But still, that'll help at least.

Unfortunately, they do not seem to have as comprehensive a collection of DM episodes, so that and GX 60 are off limits to me, as it is the only GX episode not available on Youtube lol.
Ah, thanks. That'll help a lot.

EDIT: Ah, okay, so it was "Mashin Shougeki Ha" (Demon God Shockwave.)

Bryon since your psot is on the top you can post the list . If its ok for the pthers.

And i think if is really confirmend that the GX part of the attacks is complete (+ The manga when its only 1 name ) this sould be added to Janimes site .
For more ppl to see cuz for nomembers its not possible, In the forum.
That way Fanfics can be more correct and DUB stuff can be canceled out.

I think that is a nice idea... The listing is really Bryon and Horoko's so I think Bryon's should be the one on this page, though I am glad to have contributed with alphabetizing the list for convenience and finding names I didn't understand, lol.

I think there are only a few more unidentified cards and the GX listing will be completely updated (until Turn 89 at least lol):
    - The Cyber Angel attack names
    - In Turn 84, Misawa seems to give an attack name for Plasma Warrior Atom and Beetron 1's attack name is "Beetle Rush", but I am not sure if the fusions had attack names...

I've already spotted another attack from an episode on YouTube. It's not GX though.

Hmmm, "Armed Dragon LV3" never attacked, did it? How'd it get on the list?

Oh, and "Tin Aitos" should be "Tin Aetos" (a long standing error that I had not noticed until yesterday.)

Atom the Plasma Warrior - Atomic Blaster
Combat Scissor Beetle - Cross Slicer
Beetron 1 (Kabutopturbo) - Beetle Rush

EDIT: Oops, it was "Magnum Rail Gun", my bad.

I believe that Armed LV3 attacked Asuka in her duel with White Thunder... I will add those onto my list so they are organized for Bryon to put onto his.

I don't know if this can be listed as the dub movie is my only source but its other attacks are here so here it is, Blue Eyes Shining Dragon's other effect, the immunity to effects, (Shining Nova being the self-sacrificing destruction effect), was called Shining Diffusion.

Yeah, that was the dub movie only.

On the topic of the movie, I remembered Composite Demon Beast Garzett's attack name was. Majuu Doku Doku Kougeki (Demon Beast Venom Stream Attack.)

And I believe VW-Tiger's attack hasn't been named yet. It's "VW Tiger Missle Launch."

I added the latest attack names to the list on the last page! Horoko is right, Superconductor didn't have an attack name... Kenzan just told it to attack directly, then when they created Rexx Union next turn, Sho did not give it a name then either lol.

Slingblade: Your list is very nice work, although this thread has become primarily devoted to the original attack names, not the 4kids-created ones in the dub...

Murder Circus Zombie's attack should be "Hell-Bringing Acrobatics" (Viz's translation omitted the 地獄送りの曲芸 in the attack name. Where did "Knife Toss" come from, by the way?) Well, I guess this one counts too.

Oh wait, that was from my list going off the one that was already posted. That's how that name got on there. I think that was the dub name, right? I must have missed it in my first run.

EDIT: Oh, I never confirmed those three names, did I? Well, I know Arcana Magic and Absolute Darkness are right. I'm not sure about Dino Tank though.

Oh, and here's a few anyone would miss by not paying attention.

Neospacian Glow Moss - Signal Check
Dark Eyes Illusionist (Effect) - Dark Eyes Magic
Sacrifice - Illusion [Monster Attack Name]
Sacrifice (Effect) - Dark Eyes Magic
    Sacrifice (Absorbtion) - Dark Hole
    Sacrifice (Shield) - Sacrifice Sheild
Thousand Eyes Sacrifice - Thousand Eyes Curse

So that is why there were two names for that... I removed the extra one and added all of the others to the second page list.

Thank you for confirming those names... I do not like to be presumptuous and include my findings as fact so I always mark them like that until someone else more observant can confirm them, lol. To that end, I put up two provisionary names from today's episode...

Cyber Dark Edge - Counter Bomb
Cyber Dark Horn - Dark Spear

I am not sure about Dino Tank... I am certain of Energy, but not of the suffix. It is given in the Kenzan/Saiou duel when Kenzan first summons the monster near the end of the duel.

In the manga, Viz translate the attack of Masked Beast Des Guardius as Dark Destruction.

The TCG name of Des Guardius seems to have changed to the Masked Beast of Guardius. That's what Viz call it (except in the translations at the back) and that's what it's action figure was called. Hmm.

Also, Viz use Des instead of Death in this case in the OCG name. However, they still call Death Meteor, Death Meteor. Could 'Des' actually mean something?

Yeah "Dark Destruction" is right on the money.

On your second point: Naw, they probably did that for consistancy's sake (I hope they did.) Because I really doubt, with all of the games and regular dialogue involving "death" as a noun, would the manga-ka go "You know, I will invent a new word that has no meaning at all without even a proper story to go behind it. Brilliant! That'll confuse those round-eyes!"

And you also must realize, this is Viz we're dealing with. They make ass-backwards decisions quite a lot, like Tokyopop, FuNimation, etc, etc....

I added what Ryusaki and Horoko posted, and also these following from the YGO R manga translations... I think these are the last of the current GX and R manga attacks, not counting the untranslated R chapters.

    IBVA Abductor (effect) - Abduction

Drawler's attack name is Roller Press. And I believe Transiter's attack name is "Smart Surveying" ("Sokuryo"-suru means "to survey" or "to measure", and his name is Sokuryo no Senshi Transiter)

And just incase this hasn't been said, Toy Magician's attack name is Block Demolition.

I added ijigen's corrections, as well as two names from the latest Janime summaries to the listing...

    Greed Quasar - Prominence Napalm
Twin Gun Fighter - Double Fire

I think Swift Birdman Joe was just an excuse to make an interesting remake of an old card, as well as make up for the Harpie's Brother mistake by translating it correctly this time lol.

No, the card 疾風鳥人ジョー (Shippuu Choujin Joe/"Swift Birdman Joe") is named "Joe." The card バードマン (Birdman) is just "Birdman."

Well, if anything I think the new Birdmen (Sonic Shooter is of the same race it seems, he's like a bluish silver with different hair feathers) fix two mistakes. First being the Harpie's Brother dub name (who's to say this birdma is their brother, maybe he's a boyfriend) and finally making a humanoid male Winged Beast that has the same body structure as the harpies, i.e a male harpie.

"Harpie's Brother" looks very little like a harpie, as he has no claws, is dressed too fully (all the harpies when not armored seem to prefer being half naked), and has wings sprouting from his back instead of his arms being wings.

I know, most of you don't care, but I like to look at little details like these.

And I made up my own name for Birdman Joe's attack, noting how extreme speed and winds are the hallmarks of the birdmen: Gale Slash (Gale Blast for his effect as its like a powerful blast of wind throwing the Spells and Traps off the field), and (for Sonic Shooter) Sonic Slash. I never would have mentioned this and don't want to start a trend in a thread that is for the real attack names, but I couldn't resist after seeing Bryon_Youngblood's post. Maybe I'll make a thread for made-up attack names...

Sounds good to me, Perentine Fan. We could use a thread like that.

Really? I though it was something like German for "Death". "Des". Like "death", but "worsssse".

It's just "Desu" with the "u" and the end chopped off.

Since I was watching the movie anyway (and I forgot about this one completely) here it is,

Injection Angel Lily - Check-Up Time

And for some reason I got "dokudoku" (stream) mixed up with "dokudoku" (poison.) (Or maybe I did that on purpose...who knows.) So could that be changed to "Demon Beast Toxic Attack"?

When I think "acid" I think "burning, dissolving, acidic."

When I think "toxic" I think "poisonous, slimy, smelly."

The two have no bearing to each other in my book. (Even though some toxins can be acidic, that's beside the point.)

Two more to add while I'm at it with the movie. (Did I add these already?)

Added them all and I also have a new unconfirmed entry of my own, having recently re-watched the Valon/Rebecca/Otogi Doma duel. I am not sure about this one, because I have never been able to tell what is happening using what cards when Valon does anything... The attack name was clear, but what Armor piece was attacking was not, lol. I made the assumption that it was Big Bang Blow due to the effect

It's actually ジ・エンド・オブ・クラッシャー (The End of Crusher) with "Ji Endo" instead of "Za Endo."
