It's not that I dislike Atem or anything, but I really want to see more Yugi. Especially how he coped with the loss of Atem and became an independent, confident being of his own.

i agree aswell, just like it would of made more sense for Judai to simply duel the buff yugi in the last episodes rather than the weird timetravel but i guess they didnt want to give Yugi a face

If the movie is to be released...when and will it be on the internet to? I keep hearing it's going to be released on August the Tenth or sometime in august or october. I don't care when it will be released this year I just want to see it! I just hope it's not going to be like some of the OVA's that just tell people and explain who the characters are. I hate those kind of things....I mean they are pretty useful...but I really want to see a Movie with al three of the Protagonists working together to defeat some great evil!

And some of the supporting characters should make an enterance...Like Jounouchi and Crow! And I realy hope Atem makes an appearance! I love Atem to death!

I really think the OVA will feature new cards and hopefully some old cards played by the old characters.

Why waste an opportunity to promote new and hopefully some old cards. Judai and Yugi have quite a lot of cards that people would love to see become real cards.

I get the feeling it will be some enemy they all gang up on, but it's nothing more than a guess, as well as the only thing I could think of at the moment that would be something I'd like to see.

I'd actually look forward to a three-way duel between them if they hadn't already done a Yugi vs Judai duel in GX.

I wonder what the whole storyline will be behind this movie. I'm hoping for a Savior Star Dragon cameo in this movie, but I doubt it would happen, lol.

As far as Yusei beating Yugi. If Yusei manages to pull off Savior Star Dragon with Ra or Slifer out, Yusei pretty much has it won at that point. As for Obelisk, he would have to give it a boost like he did against Goodwin.

Savior Demon Dragon on the other hand....it could solo any one of the god cards, since it gains attack power on it's own, making it good for taking down Obelisk.

Well he surely will be in there, but most known as Yami Yugi.
After all, I'll watch the OVA mainly because of him.

I think I know when the movie is suppose to be released! I looked all over and apparently the movie will be screening during the Jump Super Anime Fest in Japan. Here is the caption I got it from:

"Dengeki Online has revealed that the upcoming short Yu-Gi-Oh 10th Special movie that will screen as part of this fall’s traveling Jump Super Anime Tour will star the protagonists of all three Yu-Gi-Oh anime series: Yuugi Mutou from Yu-Gi-Oh! Ok, that's what I was expecting, as the jump tour came out last time around that time as well. It's fine, maybe if this OVA ties in with 5D's, more will be revealed in the 5D's anime that leads up to it.

We'll, besides the Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th special, apparenty, their also going to be showing a new one piece movie, something about naruto, katekyo hitman reborn, and tegami bachi. Here is the caption:

"The current issues of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump, Jump Square, and V Jump magazines have announced the original anime shorts that will screen at the Jump Super Anime Tour events in Japan this year. The shorts will be Toriko, special One Piece: The Movie footage, Naruto, Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Special, and Tegami Bachi. This will be the first anime adaptation of Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro's Toriko manga. Naked, a member here, speculated when this information was first rervealed that this would be a duel between the three protagonists, and made up his own title. Someone took him/her seriously, and the false info. spread like wild fire.

This, however is confirmed by the scans and the official website. Also, the Judai's eyecatch is season four Judai, so no worries there, for you anyway. I want st00pid Judai! Wah!

yes and no. It's still in progress I think since Kazuki Takahasi is doing the art and I believe the plot to. All i know is that from all the sites i've been to about this topic, there is going to be a movie about the 3 protagonists, and it has been confirmed on all those sites...now that I think about it...I should have stopped at ten sites...

So yes it has been confirmed and no the plot hasn't been confirmed yet. we'll probobly know the plot sometime during the anime tour.

I really hope adult Judai will be in this one. The one from Season 4.

Te bolded are the ones I am actually interested in. Can't wait to see what info is released about the new OP movie directed by Oda-sama, whatever Naruto special is airing (supposing it's actually good) and of course the new YGO movie. This year will prove to be a great year for both One Piece and YGO.

Holy shit! I never even thought of that happening. Hopefully this will help confirm if this is the same Ushio.

I can picture it now:

*Yugi waks into the room and sees Ushio with his coat flung over his shoulder*
*Ushio sees Yugi and drops his coat on the floor, his eyes wide and he starts to sweat*
*Yami Yugi/Atem comes out, and Ushio runs out of the room screaming. Yusei comes in and gives Yugi a wtf look*

Okay, pretty cheesy, but if Ushio ever sees Yami Yugi again after what he did to him before, assuming it actually happened in the current YGO series logic... just imagine how he would react seeing him, lol.

Honestly, I'd be glad if the duel is a small part of the whole OVA. I want to watch the 3 protagonists working together, communicating with each other, investigating...etc. not to watch duels all the time. The duel is unavoidable. After all this is YGO, but I want to see duel later in the OVA, not from the beginning.

Yeah I guess so. I would love it to be a nice long movie, at least an hour if not two. thewy have gone to all this effort to publicise it, they should really go all out with it.

Since Kaiba's my favorite, I really want him to be in the movie. I miss him flaunting his money around and building skyscrapers for the sole purpose of holding four duels there and then blowing it up after he loses.

I'm going to be positive and hope for the best, but I have a feeling that especially if this is going to be a short movie, that it's going to be just Yami Yugi-Judai-Yusei and no one else. The animators don't seem to give Kaiba much love. And even less love to Jounouchi. I watched all those episodes of GX waiting for a future version of him to show up...

It is amazing !!!!! I can not wait for the movie comes out this year, also hope to see again Yugi, Jaden and Yusei now. For me it would be better to close this year. And not only the year COMPLETE THE DECADE!

i think they are going to involve all 3characters,cuz this is an anniversary for the overall yugioh franchise from the looks of it ^_^

i hope they release an awesome pack of cards that they all used in both japan and america involving the cards they never released like: dark renewal, mystical refpanel,time/turn jump for yugi-necro illusion,neo-spacian marine dolphin,and battle by2 for jaden- and starlite road,stardust flash,and card defense (lol just cuz its a defense draw redo lol)
but thats me,i love dark renewal and i want it so badly so i can try to gather the dark magicians after losing them (i know how stupid of me)
plus i always liked the effect of battle by2,and necro illusion,also time/turn jump
and stardust is my fav synchro and has been before i knew its killa effect XD
so any support for him is a must in my opinion

either way i want to see them do a good job on this,and have all the main characters together lol

Well got a question for you guys. What are the odds of al three protagonists seeing and working together? I thought about it and...what if the producers had the idea of them fighting a similar enemy, but in different times, where they never do meet? I really hope I'm wrong!

Because seeing them together would be a dream come true!!!

OMG! A OVA? Seriously? Well I saw that 1 second video... And my jaw almost dropped to the floor... I'll be happy just seeing Yugi in it... And I wonder if the orginal voice actor will do Yugi's voice again... Since it's been a while now...

That just doesn't make any sense.
Besides, I think the animators know well that a really big part of the YGO fans want to see the 3 main characters involved in something, but involved TOGETHER, in one place, at one time.
So if they do something like your version would be a huge mistake.
Or, at least the interest of this OVA won't be same.

I'm excited for this OVA, seeing Yusei and Yami in the same place would be awesome xD

However, I would like to see Yugi duel, Yami has had enough dueling to last however many lifetimes he has and Yugi needs more love and I would like to see how well he's gotten

I can actually imagine something similar to the first Digimon movie. Where the original characters defeat a villain then the next generation goes head to head with them years later. Would be pretty cool but it'd have to be 3 times in one special. Someone would get tired of that @_@;

I can't wait to find out what the plot will be.

I hope the plot has something to do with the millenium items returning one way or another...that would be just too cool.

yeah that would be cool but I just don't see that happening with them falling to the ends of the Earth. Still its anime; anything can happen and that would make for a great plot.

Something revolving around the millennium items would be interesting and it would actually make sense with Yami being in spirit form again and dueling with the others.

The thing I'm curious about is, how old are they going to be? Or if they're going to pull off that time travel thing and Yugi is going to be whatever age he was in DM, same with Judai.

I noticed that Ushio was the guy who bullied Yugi and he doesn't appear that old, so maybe Yugi isn't that old? But then again, weren't they in their thirties in GX? I don't know how they could stay looking young. I can see Kaiba staying young, he has the power of money after all .o.

You know, they could easily avoid the whole "Atem shouldn't be here!" thing by just making it all take place after Battle City and before Memory World or sometime around the advent of the Duel Disk..Not really much discussion for "Atem shouldn't be here!" or "Yugi surpassed him, he doesn't count!" when you think about it that way.

It's actually a possibility that Ushio from 5D's is different from Season 0...I think the Ushio in 5D's is the son of the Ushio in season 0 but that's just my theory

Whether it's the same Ushio or not, I still think it will be really awesome when he meets Yugi. It's possible if he is his son he was told about what happened as a kid, although that may be something his father would never tell anyone.

An early article before the start of the series confirmed that Ushio will be part of the series using an image of him from the manga showcasing the cards he played aginst Yusei in the first episode. So same guy just now in his 40s atleast.
