Why did I not expect the most expected story line... but I will still be interested and will still HOPE that classic characters like Jounouchi (PLEASE!!!!!!) and even Kaiba are shown even if it IS for a little bit...

Unless they're using that as an excuse for Yugi to showcase the God cards again.

I guess they want Yugi when he was at his prime. Poor Yugi, its like as if he's useless without Yami. Totally defeats the purpose of the story's end XP

A future beyond Yusei's. Well, Paradox seems to have his D-Wheel. Perhaps this time, all the monsters are alive and have caused armageddon and future is in ruins. Basically imagine Anubis's future visions of the world back in PoL

I am SO excited that Kenn is doing Judai's voice.. to see him duel one last time is like a dream come true. I hope they all use cards that they have used before, not random one off cards just to fit with the situation they're in. It would be especially cool if they combined old cards together in some combos, like Yugi uses a card the Judai uses a card he's used before but in a different way to combo with Yugi's card... Does that make sense??

Well that's not exactly the plot I've been dreaming of.

Why everything have to start with Yusei and why the 3 of them have to fight for returning Stardust dragon back to normal? What happened with the Egyptian Gods? Why everybody just forgot about them? Stardust isn't the strongest and the most dangerous monster and for sure isn't even 50% as strong, magestic and gorgeous as Osiris, Obelisk and Ra. Personally I think he even can't be compared with only one of them. Hope at least to see these true mighty creatures in the movie and they to be the main reason for winning against Paradox.

I think that's pictures from the beginning of the MOVIE or from the OVA.

This movie is to promote 5D, whose third season is horrible. Therefore, the story revolves around 5D and Yusei is the abslute main character , then it should be over Yugi, to promote 5D. **** the consistency with the original series.

Well, personally I don't think that's the right way to celebrate the 10th Anniversary.
5D'S is only part of the whole anime series, but for sure isn't the main.
The movie was excellent idea, but the plot, at least for now, isn't correct.

I've got a question.Did yugi lose the egyptian cards after his duel with atem?
I'm not surprised that yugi will be seen last.Like I said,yugi already had been in a movie and in some special episodes.Sometimes the new characters has to have more screentime.
We get to see jaden again!

I think Stardust Dragon is 1st synchro monster made which contribute to the evolution of duel monster game.That why Paradox wants it.

It sounds to me they're still making Yugi out to be important. I mean, it starts with Yusei and Judai, but they end up needing the help of Yugi...he's the last person to appear, so he'll probably have a big role.

I really hope so. the whole Darkness thing and how duelists tarnish their cards because of their hatred was a brilliant plot and this guy Paradox wants to destroy duel monsters so maybe they are connected? Any one else got any thoughts on this?

I think that says it all.

I think they are going back in time for Yugi not currently cause Atem isnt with Yugi in the present... he left remember? Thats why they want to go to the past BEFORE Atem left cause Atem is the one with the magical powers and the chosen one not Yugi (more like TOGETHER they are the most powerful)
But why do I get the feelign that Atem will be getting all the love (which I dont mind haha)

Because they never have come up with a good enough look for a bit more grown Yugi that in the same time has at least some of the coolness Atem had. I think its not hard. At least they had the same body.

This movie, in a nutshell will basically be this, right?

Paradox: Hey look over there! *yusei turns and paradox steals Stardust* SUCKER! *leaves time fissure open*
Yusei: HE STOLE MY CARD! D= *jumps*
Scruffy: Scruffy's job isn't to fix time rips. *eats chips*
Yusei: whoa, this is so different.... hey another guy, wanna help me get my trading card back?
Judai: Sure wierd dude i've never met, anything to get screen time.

Yeah, Yugi and Atem are still the best duelist to me. So of course they would help save the world or whatever the plot happens to be. Yusei and Judai are bad either, but I still like Atem and Yugi to be very involved in the movie.

For me between One Piece and YGO I have a ton of stuff to look forward to. The new Fairy Tail anime makes it even better as well.

Yeah, I want to see all the best friends getting into duels. I still love the main characters Yugi/Atem, Judai and Yusei, but some side duels would be fun too.

I think that we will be seeing only main characters.I doubt that joey,zane or even jack will be in it.The movie is just about those 3 characters.Putting a minior character could ruin the movie.

this movie would be total win if each main character use there strongest monster they ever played like

yugi: the creator of light(meaning a card version of him finally)

judai: E hero god neos

yusei: crimson dragon(but we dont know if its a card yet so lets just say he uses savior star dragon)

The focus should be on the three of course, but that hardly means we can't see a few minutes here and there of other cameos.

Take for example this:

-Before Yusei leaves his time frame we should see the main 5D's cast, even if just a little. It would be disrespectful for them not to if you ask me. (Meaning Jack, Crow, Aki, Rua and Ruka at least)

-If Yusei meets Judai when he is still in Duel Academia, you could have a scene where Yusei walks into DA and runs into Chronos or something crazy like that. Not to mention Manjoume, Asuka, Sho and kenzan being around the area.

Or if it takes place after he leaves DA after GX's ending, which is probably will, they should at least give a quick glance of his time frame and have one character return somehow.

-And of course, most importantly, if they are IN Yugi's time frame fighting this guy, it would be utterly stupid if they don't at least show characters like Kaiba, Jounouchi, Anzu and Honda who live in Domino.

Two problems would appear that would make it a bit harder to show too many characters. For one thing, they only have about 1 hour and a half, maybe an extra 15 minutes or so if they push it, to work with. More than that, it would be hard to gather up too many VA's from the past that have gone their separate ways into other projects. The trick is to get as many to return as possible, and if you can't, just give them a still shot cameo.

Just seeing other characters briefly in this movie is enough for me, even if they aren't too highly evolved. If this is meant to celebrate all three series, they should be making cameos from all three aside from the main character.
