Wow, his eye structure's different than most characters. Look at the end of his eye that goes towards his nose. Seems pretty different than usual. And that marking thing that goes over the eyebrow..That purple thing is definitely a head-piece and I'll assume its some sort of wiring thats connected from it to his face. Psychic duelist perhaps? Or maybe its some sort of scouter.

I took another look at the diary post, and they actually say their first reaction was how nihilistic Paradox sounded. That could tie in with the "deep thought" part.

I inspected the V-Jump article some more, and noticed this:

What is that? Note he's not wearing his shoulderpads in that picture, so that gray thing with the stripes extending from it isn't visible, either. It wasn't visible on his back shot. Is it his hair? But it looks odd and doesn't seem to connect to the bottom of his hair. (Judging by the outlines, it's part of his body shot from the article.)

So, perhaps 43 minutes into the film they begin the duel? Well, sounds good to me, about 40 minutes is good for Yusei, Judai, and Yugi to meet and such. The movie itself may be about an hour and a half, probably. Its plausible.

Looks 23:... to me. The scene in question seems to be from the moment where the three protagonists encounter Paradox. Considering Yusei meets Judai ten minutes into the film and then they depart for Yugi's time, it would make sense.

Yes, It seems It's the scene when paradox appears in Yugi's time. The picture isn't easy to see. The blonds hairs seems sightly differents. He seems bear this thing on his shoulders but I'm not sure.

It looks like to me he's looking downwards (in contrast to this picture, where he appears to be looking upwards), possibly during/at the end of of his speech? But his pose is different too, so perhaps he is about to drive with the D-Wheel?

That's what I'm thinkin too. It could be just alternative Artwork but it could also be an entire new "Paradox"-Archtype. Let's call this Monster "Paradox White Dragon".

Or it could be that (very likely) the BEWD isn't actually Paradox's main card. Maybe his special signature card will be shown later on in the eyecatches.

Now, I can think of these possibilities:

[ A ] We're in Paradox's time. Kaiba has passed away and the BEWDs were passed on in some way. Darkness rose again, the end of the world is approaching and the cards are getting corrupted. Paradox, knowing it is one of the cards with the biggest strength, manages to get his hand on BEWD, but it had already corrupted to an extent. He then travels back into the past but only reaches 5D's' time.

[ B ] Paradox confronts Kaiba at some point in the movie and gets his hands on his BEWDs, or one of them. He uses it to continue travelling in time, just like Stardust Dragon. Paradox's D-Wheel mechanics cause the card to bear the black/white marks.

[ C ] Paradox confronts Kaiba at some point in the movie and gets his hands on the BEWDs, or one of them. Nothing ever happens to the card itself, it merely gets the black/white marks to show that it belongs to Paradox now.

[ D ] The BEWD has been copied from the originals, similarly to Jack's Red Demon Dragon in 5D's. The copy process makes it bear the black/white marks.

The people at Newwise BBS and 2chan seem to speculate that Paradox will steal 9 duelists' signature cards to initate multiple grandfather paradoxes when he erases Pegasus. This would make sense - if Pegasus is gone, not only he wouldn't be able to travel back in time, but he wouldn't be able to steal the cards either.

But does that mean Paradox intends to curb stomp Pegasus out of existence with all those cards? Poor guy. And let's not forget Paradox likely possesses Solid Vision, or perhaps an even more modern form of it. Or his D-Wheel is capable of making monsters real ala Psycho Duelists.

Lia: The quote you posted speculates on how the crime (Sin World?) is a world with the fusion of light and darkness, and that cards can be copied according to 5D's' episode 84. I'm not quite sure, though.

Because it was obvious from the first screenshot we saw of him? The second I saw a picture of Paradox, it was obvious he was modeled as a mixture of Kaiba, Jack and such. The resemblances are uncanny.

EDIT: Oops, misread that. But I still stick by what I said. I think Paradox is a combination of all the antagonists.

I think they will show cards that belong to Paradox and our heroes, we'll have to see which card they show next week to confirm this though.

The BEWD appears to be in Paradox's possession, judging by the patterns. The diary said so as well. We'll see about the rest of the cards.

Well, I don't mind if all 9 cards belong to Paradox, but seeing some new cool monsters from the 3 main charas also will be PERFECT.
But let's as a beginning to see the eyecatch from episode 85. It may show us how will the other eyecatches look like.

I'm not sure about this. Paradox's monsters could be some kind of corrupted versions of all the strongest monsters that had belonged to the greatest protagonists's opponents from all 3 series.

Hmm. But killing Pegasus would set in the grandfather paradox right away. And if Paradox wanted to get rid of him in order to get rid of Duel Monsters, I don't see why he would finish it.

Blue Eyes White Dragon ! Very symbolic ! The coat is explains. Maybe he owns Dark Magician ? I think his signature card is the head on his D-Wheel, I think at a dragon.

XD No worries. I only posted the Nicovideo link, but it was Adam5 who told me about it firsthand, so... :p

Anyway, I don't think this is the real trailer yet. It re-used material from the teaser trailer, this could be teaser trailer #2 or trailer #1 maybe? I still think the Jump Super Anime Tour trailer is the real thing - it has the lines which trailers usually have ("Stardust Dragon will destroy the world", etc.) and it had really strict security. There must've been a reason to not allow anyone to leak that trailer. (Granted, it's supposed to be like that with movies as well.) Besides, if you disregard the JSAT trailer for a moment, we weren't told why Paradox would want to travel back in time or steal Stardust Dragon (besides leading the world down on the path of destruction). And no other characters have been revealed yet, but Pegasus was already seen in the JSAT trailer.

It could be anyone from either series, really. But if it was Malik, I would want to know what "key card" other than Ra he even had, lol. His deck was about as random and unorganized a being as he was.

I'd like to see a card stolen from Kaiba (BEWD), Jounouchi, Manjoume (maybe) or Kaiser, Jack... maybe a few others, I dunno. I guess only time will tell us.
