[Q] Is there a promotional card for the movie?

[A] The promotional card for the original theater release in Japan was Sin Red-Eyes Black Dragon. It is not known what will the promotional cards be for the Encore, English and DVD releases, or if there will be one.

[Q] In what material was the movie promoted? Where can I find them?

[A] It was promoted in ads (eyecatches) right before 5D's episodes. The first wave featured special clips of Yugi, Judai and Yusei with their signature monsters. The second wave of eyecatches included clips from the movie and the voice actors, as well as featuring cards which would be used in the movie.

The movie was also featured in various V-Jump issues, Sakiyomi JanBANG!, Ene!, AxA, FUJIWARA (not the GX character) and Anison Plus+, as well as the official website for the movie and several news sites. After the movie's release, 5D's featured clips of the movie in the episode OPs/EDs, lasting from episodes 093 to 098.

The English version of the movie was being promoted at the 2010 San Diego Comic Con, and a 6 minute preview was shown in 3D at the 2010 World Championships in August 2010. An artist has made a chalk drawing featuring the three protagonists, which is also an advertisement for Toonzaki, 4Kids' online channel.

[Q] What BGM plays in the movie?

[A] The majority of the BGM is from 5D's, a few is from GX. No BGM from the Duel Monsters Sound Duels / Duel I+II have been used. The movie does have exclusive BGMs, entirely new songs which may or may not have debuted in 5D's already, and songs which haven't made it into the Sound Duel albums (yet). Please keep in mind that the list and the information is not 100% accurate, however.

Yusei Fudo, protector of Neo Domino City through dueling, has his ace monster, Stardust Dragon, stolen by a mysterious man who has come from the future to lead the world down the path of destruction, Paradox.

Yusei goes through a time slip and reaches Judai Yuki, one capable of using the power of Card Spirits. Yusei then learns the truth behind the incident. That truth being...

In pursuit of Paradox, Yusei and Judai travel to the times of the legendary duelist, Yugi Mutou. Then the three meet and make an agreement to combine their powers to fight. To save the world and to retrieve Yusei's Stardust Dragon, Yugi, Judai and Yusei's grand duel with Paradox unfolds.

[A] Paradox is a movie exclusive character, and is the movie's antagonist. His design was overseen by Takahiro Kagami. However, the screenwriter of the movie who also oversees the Series Structure for 5D's as of Episode 027, Shin Yoshida, stated that those who wish to "find out Paradox's true character" should watch the future 5D's episodes. This piece of information was stated in the 10th Anniversary Animation Book's Movie Staff Interview section.

[Q] What is Paradox's motive? What is his identity? (Spoilers!)

Spoiler: Movie only explanation

Paradox claims he has come from a future where the world is destroyed (he didn't state by what), and he intends to save the hopeless future. He is trying to make the best history a possibility. The Japanese trailer's tagline makes a mention of "Orders to kill the Creator of Duel Monsters", but it is not known if Paradox is the one to be given this order, or the identity of the person who gives out the order. (The tagline was omitted from the English trailer.) The order is not brought up in the Original Film, it is not known if the Encore release or the English release will touch on the matter.

Paradox wants to kill Pegasus in order to change history. The Animation Book states he discovered the power of Duel Monsters in his own time period, so he has come to the protagonists' time.

According to the movie's official site, Paradox's identity is draped in mystery. He did not reveal what or who he is in the movie itself.

Spoiler: Extended explanation (5D's SPOILERS!)

The distant future and Paradox's identity were expanded upon in Episodes 134 and 135 of 5D's. It was revealed that excessive Synchro Summoning led to humanity evolving at a way too fast speed, which ended in an army of Machine Emperors wiping out mankind. In the very end, the greed of humanity reached its peak, resulting in the Momentum Reactors becoming uncontrollable all over the planet, exploding simultaneously and wiping out humans entirely.

An older Paradox, who is allied with Zone and who appears to be an older Bruno, find Aporia in a dome, the last human remaining on Earth. They formed an alliance, performing endless experiments in order to change their bleak future. However, Bruno and Paradox die of old age, and eventually Aporia as well. Zone has been preserved in a machine, who has made a promise to the dying Aporia that he will change the future.

It is not known as of yet exactly how the movie's Paradox comes into the picture, but it is possible that just like Bruno and the three Illiaster Emperors, the younger Paradox was also a cyborg.

[A] Malefic is the English (TCG) name for the Sin monsters.

Sin is because they're monsters of the new (Shin) world to come, a world built on sin (Shin).

A number of kanjis can be read as "Shin" (which is the Japanese pronunciation of "Sin"), including 真 truth, 新 new and 神 divine/kami. Masahiro Hikokubo, the Duel Writer for the Movie, stated that the "Sin" theme is a clever combination of "sin" (罪 tsumi) and "new" (新 atarashii).

Release Dates, Merchandise

[Q] When is the DVD of the movie released?

[A] No exact date is known for either the Japanese or English DVD releases. According to inside sources, the Japanese DVD is not coming out in 2010.

4Kids has stated that the English movie DVD will be released after the English theater release.

[A] The movie is coming out in Spring 2011 February 26-27 and March 5-6 in select movie theaters in the USA, titled as "Yu-Gi-Oh! 3D Bonds Beyond Time". The movie is dubbed by 4Kids.

4Kids has also stated they'll air the movie on TV after the theater runs, then release it on DVD.

The movie is planned to be released in Europe and Asia after the American debut. No details are known yet.

Just watched the movie today and I must say I'm kinda dissapointed....

I was expecting a LOT more from this movie. But still is a cool movie.

As already stated the movie is only 45 min, but the 3D in the movie is REALLY COOL!!!

I arrived late, so I started watching from when Yusei met Judai.

Other GX characters dont appear in the movie, except for Pharaoh, Yubel( has 3 lines on the movie), and the ghost teacher.

The Duel Monsters characters are only Pegasus and Yugi's Grampa.

It was sooo cool to see the 3 heroes interacting and they dueling that was really BAD ASS!!!

But the duel part is kinda of a let down, Judai and Yugi play only ONE TURN in the duel. And basically the cards they play are Neos and Black Magician/Black Magician Girl, no other monsters =/

I was also dissapointed by the fact that Paradox's character and his world wasnt explored at ALL. It was like, his world is destroyed goes back to the past all ''Im Evil hahah!!''. Then the heroes simply kill him( yeah since his fused with his last boss kinda monster when he is destroyed) and everything is over....

At least his Sin cards are really cool and can make a playable deck.

Another cool thing is that they used Yugi and Judai's theme songs in the movie!!

I would give the movie a 7.5.

Being able to see these characters again and the heroes dueling together, the aweasome animation and the amazing 3D makes this movie a MUST SEE for every Yugioh fan.

About Aki, I've lost the beggining of the movie so I don't know if Aki does something there. But later she doesnt do anything important, like anyother character that is not a main character. She appears 3 times total, and the 3 times she is with Crow, Jack, Rua and Ruca. And they all say the same thing: ''Yusei...''
First waiting for him to go back, than when Yusei remembers them in the duel and when he returns and everyone comes running to him.

Paradox's name isnt revealed, he only says Paradox, maybe thats he's real name XD

Pegasus appears in a event giving cards to children and then is crushed to dead by Paradox.

Yugi's gramps is the same, he's with Yugi in the same event but later when Paradox attacks everything is destroyed and he also is crushed to death XD

Also I forgot to mention that the heroes have to defeat Paradox quickly, because after he appears in a world and changes something that dimension starts falling apart.

The timeline is not explained at all, just what we already know =/

The duel works like this: The heroes share the same 4000 life points, Paradox also has 4000 life points.

The order play is Paradox - Yusei - Paradox - Judai - Paradox - Yugi - Paradox - Yusei - OVER

Yusei, Yugi and Judai win the duel when Yusei attacks with the 10000 ATK Stardust. Judai plays a Neos trap card that doubles a monsters ATK, then Yugi plays the same trap Black Magician version, leaving Stardust with 10000 ATK.

A lost the begging of the movie, from where I pick up Judai was at a Vatican like place, because there was a rumor about a duelist destroying cards, then Paradox appears summons Stardust and destroy everything, then Yusei appears and ask's for Judai's help. Then Judai gets all excited when he sees Yusei's D-Wheel asking if thats the duel disk of the future, and is impressed that it evolved like that. Then they search for a event in the past where Paradox went to. Then in Yugi's time, there's a event where Pegasus will distribute cards in a children's tournament and Yugi and Sugoroku are there too, then at noon Pegasus arrive and at that moment Paradox summons Sin Cyber End, Sin Rainbow Dragon and Stardust he stole from Yusei at the beggining I missed =P
He destroys everything, a huge ass building crushes Pegasus,then Yugi faints, and when he wakes up everything is in ruins and he only finds granps headband at that moment a crack in space appears and the crimson dragon eats Yugi.
Then Yugi is thrown out of another crack in time at the same place half and hour earlier, Yusei and Judai ridding the D Wheel show up right after Yugi. Explanations later they decide to face off Paradox together, to save Yusei's, Judai's and Yugi's dimensions from desintegrating thanks to Paradox screwing with time.
Yubel throw some fireballs at the event so everyone run away, then Paradox shows up. They have 20 min to defeat him before Pegasus arrive and the other dimensions crumble to pieces. So the 3 heroes challenge Paradox for a children's card game with the fate of the world at stake...again.( Sorry couldnt resist the joke there =P)

Oh yeah, Pegasus yells ''OH MY GOD!'' before the building hits him XD

About the crumbling dimensions thing, since Paradox is from the distance future, every time he changes a event at the past, like stealing Stardust, that dimension starts to fall apart, like dissappear slowly since the past changed, or something like that.

Actually since Yugi go back 30 minutes they never die =P

Sin Truth Dragon is a really BIG dragon, gigantic with a Paradox in its head( exactly like Marik and Ra). Its Yellowish with four wings with emerald details. Sorry thats about what I remember, it may be kinda wrong. But Sin Paradox Dragon was cooler, too bad I dont remember how it looked like sorry....

Paradox's future is like NO MORE HUMANITY, apparently only him remains and the Earth is a just a bunch of ruins, no more seas, forests. When the planet is shown from space its all red.
Paradox is a ''good'' guy just trying to save the world but he acts like a dick ''I'm sooo Evil'' attitude. The heroes in the end dont even try to hear him out just kill him XD

Those things are just clothes, nothing special about them =P

I don remember every single detail and card of the duel, but with the other summary you can get a ideia.

Paradox's D Wheel transforms into a flying type and he floats up high and the duel starts.
Paradox goes first. He activates a field spell card that let him put a random Sin monster from his deck to his hand instead of drawing a card. The field turns into a purple space full of stars and with the 3D effect it was AMAZING. Then he sends Cyber End to the grave and summons Sin Cyber End.
Yusei says that everything is his fault, and asks Yugi and Judai to let him take the first turn. Judai and Yugi agrees and say: ''Okay Yusei, kick his ass!".
Yusei activates a spell that sends two monsters from his hand to the grave but let him add a monster to his hand for two turns(kinda blurry, it may be different). Yusei sends Roadrunner and Bolt Hedgehog to the grave and gets Junk Synchron. Summoning Junk Synchron he gets Roadrunner and Hedgehog on his field, and Synchro Summons Junk Gardna. Yugi and Judai are impressed with the new cards from the future. Yusei sets a card and end his turn.
Paradox adds a Sin Rainbow Dragon to his hand, summons it( Judai's pissed cause Paradox's using Johan's card XD) and attack with Sin CyberEnd. Yusei uses his monster effect changing Cyberend to defence mode. Then Rainbow attacks and Gardna is destroyed, Gardna's effect changes Rainbow to defense. Yusei uses a card that brings back Gardna.
Now is Judai's turn. His theme begins to play and he uses Fusion. He then fuses Neos and Gardna to summon Neos Knight. Neos Knight gets half of the attack points of the warrior material monster used. He then destroys CyberEnd, Neos Knight can attack twice so he also destroys Rainbow. Judai sets 4 cards and end his turn.
Paradox summons Sin Stardust and tunes it to summon Sin Paradox Dragon. He then brings back Stardust from the grave with Dragon's effect. As long as Stardust is on the field all of the opponents monsters loses 2500 ATK points. Paradox Dragon attacks Neos Knight, kinda blurry, I think Judai uses hero barrier.
Yugi's turn. His theme plays and he uses Yusei's card effect to add Black Magician to his hand. He activates Ancient Rules and summon him, Judai gets all excited seeing Black Magician. Then a magic card summons Black Magician Girl. Yugi uses a magic card to get control of Paradox Dragon but Paradox uses a trap that negates all effects against the Dragon then Yugi smiles and say that his real target is Stardust. Now Yusei got Stardust back. Yugi then uses a card that combine the Magicians attack points and destroy Paradox Dragon. But then Paradox uses a trap, when Paradox Dragon is destroyed he pays half of his life to summon SIN Truth Dragon. He then fuses with him and gets all crazy/face deforming effect exactly like Marik. Everyone is amazed by how gigantic the monster is.

Paradox's turn. He summons Sin Blue Eyes and Sin Red Eyes. Now is really blurry sorry,I think Red Eyes attack Magician Girl but Judai uses something to protect her. The Blue Eyes attacks Neos, Judai uses De-Fusion. Paradox then attack with Truth Dragon destroys a monster a thanks to its effect he destorys all monsters on the field. Yusei uses Stardusts effect but I dont remeber how Truth Dragon isnt destroyed and get to attack again or something. Then Yusei is on his knees saying that its all over, their future is doomed. Then in Neo Domino everyone is watching the dimesion fall apart but Jack says that Yusei will save everyone. Then Yugi and Judai tell Yusei to get up, because *Insert Friendship Speech*. Then Judai activates Flute of Summoning Kuriboh, Yugi gets kuriboh uses his effect. Then a giant 3D kuriboh blocks the attack.
Yusei's turn. He plays a trap that bring all the monsters back and then Judai and Yugi play a trap Neos and Black Magician Versions that double Stardust Attack to 10000. Then Black Magician, Neos and Stardust combine their attacks and win the duel.
After that Yusei thanks everyone and hope to meet then again, the next time to duel with Yugi. Then Yugi gives a good old friendship speech.
Yusei's back at Neo Domino and everyone comes running screaming: Yusei!
Yusei than looks at the Sky and thinks: " I'll protect my future so one day we can meet again, Judai san, Yugi san...."

For example, I heard this one person on YT said that he would have the movie subbed by the 27th.

He was probably thinking a decent raw would be available so soon, but I doubt it. Camrips are very hard to sub, because you can't always get the greatest sound quality to understand what the characters are saying, not including the possible crowd chatter that you usually hear in a theater.

If a decent raw gets released, I would be pleasantly surprised, but a part of me is waiting to see the movie until 5-6 months from now.

Plot:
Movie starts from Paradox attacking Judai.
He uses Sin Rainbow Dragon and Sin Cyber End to blast Judai, who blocks with Neos.
Then he uses Sin Stardust to blast him, which leads to a cutaway to the 5D's era.
Paradox shows up and jacks Stardust from Yousay.
The 5D's group checks up on information about past Duelists, and notices that the one on Judai shows that Stardust Blasting scene from before. (how is this possible?)
They notice that Stardust shouldn't exist in that era, and also that the city is beginning to crumble.
Jack tells Yousay to retrieve Stardust so that what ever's happening can be stopped, so then Yousay uses the Crimson Dragon's power to go back to the past.
He arrives at the Stardust Blasting Judai scene and the Crimson Dragon guards Judai.
Paradox runs away, and Yousay and Judai joins forces.
They go even further back in time and finds Yugi.
The 3 Yu's calls upon their super powers and began dueling Paradox.

Fun facts:
Surprisingly, Speed Warrior was not used in the Duel.
Neos Knight is made from Neos and Junk Gardna in the Duel.
For some reason, Paradox's "title" changed from "The Strongest Enemy in Yugioh History" to "The Most Evil Enemy in Yugioh History".
Paradox only had 4 turns in the Duel.
...Which means that Yugi had 2 turns while Judai and Yousay both only had one...
The Gods were not used.
Yugi had no new monsters.
Despite what the movie is called, Super Poly was not used in the Movie. __________________

Fun facts:
Surprisingly, Speed Warrior was not used in the Duel.
Neos Knight is made from Neos and Junk Gardna in the Duel.
For some reason, Paradox's "title" changed from "The Strongest Enemy in Yugioh History" to "The Most Evil Enemy in Yugioh History".
Paradox only had 4 turns in the Duel.
...Which means that Yugi had 2 turns while Judai and Yousay both only had one...
The Gods were not used.
Yugi had no new monsters.
Despite what the movie is called, Super Poly was not used in the Movie. __________________

Interesting. Considering all the time travel, it would've been pretty lame if it didn't.

Admittedly the short running time of the movie sounds like it has brought in a lot of restrictions, but with only a few turns for the characters then it should at least be something like the first turns of Kaiba and Yugi vs. Dartz. Although why they bothered to make Neos Knight look like Chaos Soldier if that isn't the way the movie fused it is somewhat strange. Imagine if UFORoid Fighter had been UFORoid and Clayman.

というわけで劇場版遊戯王を見てきました。
3Dの映画を見るのは初めてだったんですが
割と「そこまで凄い」って感じなかったのが素直な感想
というより普段眼鏡かけないもんだから眼鏡かけてると
どうしても違和感があって仕方がなかった。


それでは映画のほうの感想になります
※ネタバレありますのでご注意ください。

やっぱり劇場の規模も違うし2館同時放映というもあってか
そこまで混雑はしてませんでしたね。
というよりアニメ映画が同日に3本封切になったのは何かの縁なんだろうか?
ちなみに遊戯王が終わった後Fateとなのはの方も様子を見に行ったんですが
凄い行列でした…(朝はもっとすごかったとか)
それでもFateのほうは19時回のチケットを購入に成功
だがなのはは…流石にあれに並ぶ気力はもうない(苦)
つーことでなのはは来週。え、明日?
残念だけど…出勤日なんだ…orz

混雑具合の比率を表すと
ワンピ>エヴァ>Fate&なのは>サマウォ>エウレカ>遊戯王
とりあえず次のハルヒは前日に座席取っておこうと思いました

それでは劇場版遊戯王の感想になります。
※これよりネタバレありますのでご注意ください。
(大事なことなので2回言いました)











・地球「またデュエルか…」

開始数分で崩れゆく街、相変わらず危険なカードですデュエルモンスターズ
初見の人は「え、なんでカードの存在を消しただけで世界が滅亡の危機に陥ってんの?」
って思ったんだろうな、これは遊戯王ではよくあることです
ちなみに時代設定はDMはバトルシティ以降~エジプト編までの間
GXは本編終了後、5Dsは3期の途中でした。


・まさかの十代

が最初に出てくるとは思いませんでした。
本編終了後(デュエルアカデミア卒業後)旅に出た後の設定で
屋根から屋根に飛び移る凄まじい身体能力を見せたり
万条目グループのサーバーにアクセスしたりとかなり逞しくなってました。
しかしネオスって宇宙で発見したカードじゃなかったっけ?
なんでペガサス死ぬとなくなるの?そして世界崩壊すんの?

考察してみた…
ペガサス死後DMの普及が減少→KCもDM産業を撤廃
→社長のカードを宇宙に飛ばす電波な企画も当然オジャン→ネオス生まれず
→ネオスの活躍によってダークネスから救われた世界はタイムパラドックスにより崩壊
ってことでしょうかね。


・ペガサス死亡

っは原作では普通に死んでるかどうでもいいとして
双六爺ちゃんが死んだのはちょっとショックだったな…
(後から生き返るってことはわかっていましたが)
でもこれにより遊戯の戦う理由ができたと思えば
どんだけヒロインなんだよ爺ちゃん…杏涙目やで


・パラドックスさんの目的

どうやら彼は世界が滅びた後の未来からやってきたらしく
世界が滅びた要員かもしれないデュエルモンスターズの抹消を図ったらしい
なんてはた迷惑な(爆)
そりゃまぁ何度も世界が滅ぼされかけてる上に
実際デュエルモンスターズがなくなっただけで世界が崩壊しようしてるから
その理論は間違ってなさそうだが
これは明確に「デュエルモンスターズが原因で世界が滅びた」
と言ってくれた方がスッキリしたと思う

でもパラドックスさん?
本気でデュエルモンスターズ滅ぼしたいなら
古代エジプトに行って石板を破壊してこないといけませんよ
てかそっちの方が確実だろうに…


・乗り物「赤き龍」

お前はいつからデンライナーになったんだ?
という具合に時間跳躍さえ可能にしてしまう赤き龍さん
だったらその神様的パワーでパラドックスも何とかしろよと言いたくなる。

今回の赤き龍さんの働き:
世界がピンチ　→　遊星さんをGX時代に導く　→　十代&遊星をDM時代に導く
→　DM時代で遊戯を回収　→　ペガサス暗殺の30分前に3人を飛ばす
→　パラドックスとの決戦後、遊星&十代を元の時代に戻してあげる

赤き龍すげー!


・十代「よくもヨハンのカードを!」

そういえばレインボードラゴンってヨハンしか持ってないカードでしたね
画面に映ってないところでやられてカードを奪われたヨハンカワイソス
てかパラドックスがGXの世界に行った理由はカードを奪うためだけだったという…

ちなみにブルーアイズも社長限定のカードですが
遊戯は「よくも海馬のカードを…許せないぜ!」とは言いませんでした。酷い奴だ
まぁ時間跳躍ができるキャラなんで社長やヨハンが
まだ手に入れてない時に奪ったカードかもしれませんが…
レッドアイズ、サイバーエンドに関しては複数枚存在してそうだから省く


・相変わらず過労死なネオス

今回のネオスの過労死っぷりの様子
1.レインボードラゴン&スターダストドラゴンの攻撃の盾となる
2.パラドックスドラゴンの攻撃で破壊→復活
3.また破壊される→復活

流石『初代過労死』の名を欲しいままにしたお方だぜ!
というより十代さんはネオス以外のモンスターを使っていなかった

ちなみに新ネオスのカードは「ネオス・ナイト」で
遊星のジャンクガードナーと融合したモンスターでした。
初見の十代が融合できたということでおそらく融合条件は
「ネオス+戦士族」なモンスターだと思われる。
効果は『ネオスと融合対象となった戦士族モンスターの攻撃力の半分がネオス・ナイトの攻撃力に加わる』『モ ンスターを破壊した場合、もう一度攻撃が可能』といったものでした。


・そしてもう一人の過労死は…

出てきませんでした(笑)
代わりにスターダストドラゴンがか~な~り過労死気味でしたね

今回のスターダストドラゴンまとめ:
1.パラドックスに奪われる
2.GX時代で十代にシューティングソニック
3.DM時代でペガサスもろとも町の人たちを爆☆殺!
4.Sinスタダの効果でパラドックスの墓地に送られる
5.その召喚されたSinスタダはパラドックスドラゴンのシンクロ素材として使われる
6.パラさんドラゴンの効果で墓地より復活
7.遊戯の魔法カードで遊星の元へと帰る
8.ビクティムサンクチュアリでリリース→復活
9.ブラマジ&ネオスと合体攻撃

もう休ませてやれよ…


・十代「ブラマジキタ━━(゜∀゜)━━━!」

十代よ…お前はいつからそんなキャラに…
ここで劇場にもかかわらず思わず吹きそうになった
てか師匠とその弟子(ブラマジガール)は喋りすぎ&動きすぎだと思うんだ
相変わらず専用カードもやたら多いしどんだけ優遇されてるんだよ…
しかしブラマジはホント良くブルーアイズに破壊される運命にあるんだな。


・クリボー最強杉

実はクリボーが登場した瞬間が一番燃えましたね。
例え最上級のモンスターの攻撃でも手札から無効化してしまう効果は
もう完全に神様、仏様、クリボー様だよな
最初「なんでハネクリにしなかったんだろ?」っと思ったが
ハネクリはフィールドに召喚する必要があるから間に合わないんだよね


・遊星オロオロ、先輩すげー

パラドックスの最強モンスターの前になす術もなく全てのモンスターを破壊され
諦めかける遊星を先輩二人がフォローしたのはなかなか貫禄があって良かった
流石世界を何度も救ってると肝の据わり方が違いますね。
てか十代なんかははこの状況でもデュエルを楽しんでました。


・ラストアタック

最後が魔法カードによる合体攻撃だったのはちょっと残念だったかな
ここはサプライズで「ブラックスター・ネオスドラゴン」
みたいな主人公のエースカードが融合したモンスターを期待してましたから。
もしくは遊戯が「神のカード」、十代が「ゴッドネオス」、
遊星が「セイバースタードラゴン」といった
『最後の切り札的なカード』を同時に出すのかと思ってました。



全体的な感想:
さ~て総括だ~
『夢の主人公揃い踏み』というシュチュエーションは
10年来シリーズを見てきたファンとしては非常に良かったが…
すまんちょっと今回は辛口のレビューになりますのでよろしく


とりあえず残念だった点を3つ上げよう

1.尺短すぎ

なんで2時間映画にしなかったんだろうな…
おかげで最初の方とかホント高速でポンポン物語が進みすぎて
「オイオイちょっと待て」っと言いたくなってくるぞ


2.キャラ少なすぎ

せっかく10周年記念のお祭り企画なんだから
もうちょっとシリーズのキャラを出して欲しかった気がします
本編終了後が舞台であるGXはともかく
DMは凡骨とか杏とか本田とか出せたと思うんだ…

とりあえず主人公以外で登場したキャラは
DM:双六、ペガサス
GX:ユベル、大徳寺、ファラオ
5Ds:ジャック、クロウ、アキ、龍可、龍亞、その他牛尾さんなど(台詞なし)

あとせっかくのクロスオーバーなんだから
実現不可能な夢のデュエルってのが見たかったな…


3.なんら解決にもなってない件

これが一番問題なんだよなぁ~
パラドックスの言う『世界が滅亡した要因』についてなんら説明もなく
また、主人公たちが具体的な打開策を提示せず
「とりあえず敵だけ倒しました」って感じがしました。
まぁ爺ちゃんとか犠牲になってるし、歴史が狂って世界が滅びようとしてるから
自己防衛のために倒したと思えば自然だが、

パラドックスも未来から滅亡の要員を取り除くために
やってきたデュエリストという設定は良かったが
あまりの小物さと人の犠牲をものともしない性格のおかげで
とんでもねぇ小悪党にしか見えなかったんだよな~
これが「世界を救うために苦汁の決断を選んだ」みたいなキャラだとしたら
彼も魅力的なキャラクターになったんだと思います。
どうせならパラドックスと戦った後、彼の意思を引き継いだ3人が
未来世界滅亡の原因をつきとめてそれと戦う…
みたいな2転3転する展開があったら面白かったと思う。

でも世界滅亡の要因はデュエル以外にも考えられるし
あくまで未来世界からやってきたデュエルモンスターズを滅ぼそうとする敵を
人と未来の可能性を信じた主人公たちが打ち破るというのは王道ですから
子供向け映画としては十分通用しますね。
要因を提示しなかったのも『今後の5Dsの伏線』と考えることもできますし…
(この映画が本編と繋がっているかはわかりませんが)


『デュエルモンスターズの存亡と未来をかけて3人の主人公が時をかけて戦う』
というテーマは良かったが、なにぶん尺の短さのせいで
それを十分に生かせなかったため、非常に惜しい映画だと思いました。
しかしそれでもちゃんと評価すべきところもありましたね

その1つに『音楽』
ちゃんと遊戯、十代、遊星のターンでそれぞれ
各作品の見せ場シーンのBGMが流れたのは良かった。
個人的には闇遊戯登場シーンの『熱き決闘者たち』が熱かったですね
どうしても最初が「ロッテリア」に聞こえてしまうがな
『十代のテーマ』もかなり好き。
「冒険でしょでしょ♪」に聞こえるがな

もう一つは3D2D入り交ざった映像美
流石本編を放置しただけあって作画はかなり綺麗でした。
パラドックスさんの顔芸も冴えています
3Dで暴れまわるサイバーエンドはまんまキングギドラww
しかしブラマジやガールは3Dにしなくて本当に良かったと思う

ともあれ、ファンなら見とけ!
劇場で「オイオイ」といつも通りのツッコミセシンズを光らせろ!

うん、スタッフはよく頑張ったと思う!
遊戯王って銘打ってるけど、三者三様の設定で、ぜんっぜん違う世界になってる(ようなもの)なのに、すごい 力業と言えども、面白くまとめてくれたと思います。
それでも、無粋だって分かってても、私は突っ込むよ!!
時系列ばらばら、思い出した順に書きます。

・しょっぱなから十代の世紀末チックな世界から始まるんですか!
・後から分かったことだけど、十代がいた場所ってヨーロッパなんだ・・・
・言葉(英語)はどうしてたの?
・カードが取られて過去で使われてる→歴史が変わる、それは良い
・それは良いがそこで「世界が滅ぶ!」って言われるとちょっとびびる
・確かに、「その歴史」は滅ぶので世界が亡ぶと言えないこともないんだろうが
・しかし、どっちかっていうと単純に地球が滅びます、みたいな感じだった
・まぁでも、あそこの世界ってカード一枚から始まったらしいし!(byGX)　別にいいのかな !
・5D'S時代に遊戯のことを指して「伝説のデュエリスト」それは良い
・でもどうして「名もなきファラオ」の存在が知られてるんだ!?
・誰がバラした
・カードを実体化させてる件については華麗にスルー
・DMの精霊とやらが見える聞こえる存在してる件についても華麗にスルー
・十代:「勝手に出てくるなよ~」って言うけど、遊星は見える人なの?　見える人なのは龍可じ ゃないの?
・そもそも大徳寺先生は精霊じゃないwww　あれは幽霊だwww
・十代は設定的には二十代だけど性格的には十代だな
・GXラストで遊戯とデュエルしたときよりも軽くなった感じ(1~2期に近い)
・遊戯の出番は基本ちょっとだけですね
・後輩に出番を譲った感じなのかなー
・ペガサスお前か!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
・ヘリが出てきたとき、普通に社長が飛び降りて来るんだと思ったよ・・・orz
・いや、ペガサス嫌いじゃないけど
・一緒に見ていた友人:「ペガサスにミレニアムアイがあったけど・・・作画ミス?　見間違い? 」
・外道二十代
・「式典が襲撃されてペガサス死亡」↓
　「事件が起きる前にみんな避難してりゃいいんじゃね?」↓
　自分が襲撃→みんな逃げる
・↑の理論はおかしい。おかしいんだよ外道二十代!
・ユベルも嬉々として火の玉出さない!!
・この人外コンビめ
・パラドックス「パ↑ラドックス」
・三人「パラ↑ドックス」　←多分こっちの発音が正解だと思うんだが
・パラドックスがどんなチートカード使ってきても、主人公三人の方がチートに見える
・さすが作監加々美
・カード一枚オープンするのにものすごい動作
・だが、それが良い
・さすが作監加々美(その2)。指にしか目が行かない　←指フェチ(手フェチ)
・加々美十代の手は社長に近い感じですね
・王様の手と腕は相変わらず加々美のタッチだった(当然だ)
・遊星はグローブだから描きがいないんじゃないかな・・・そんなことないのかな・・・
・3対1でもタッグデュエル方式かと思ったら違った
・パラドックス→主人公組(誰か一人)→パラドックス→(主人公組)・・・
・まぁ、そうでもしないと主人公勢がチートすぎるか
・手札だけ考えても、5枚VS15枚。　これはひどい
・パラドックスはどらごんだいすき
・お前はドラゴンマニアか!　と突っ込んだら友人に「サイバーエンドは機械族だよ」と突っ込ま れた
・そう　だ　っ　た　・　・　・
・パラドックス「私のデッキはあらゆる時代の最強のカードを集めた最強のデッキ」
・それってちょう事故りやすいデッキってことじゃね?
・王様デッキと同じかそれ以上に事故るデッキ
・TF5が出たらsinデッキ組もう。盛大に事故ろう!
・遊星(後攻1ターン)「手札を二枚墓地に捨て!」　・・・あれ、手札どこに持ってるの?(作 画ミス?)
・十代(後攻2ターン)「手札を全てセットして、ターンエンド!」　やりやがった
・遊戯(王様)「手札全部セットか~」　十代「出し惜しみしません!」
・十代、もともとの戦術が手札消費激しい戦術だもんね。出し惜しみしないんじゃなくて、できな いんだろ
・十代「BMGキター!」　ちょwwwおまwww
・まぁでも、BMGとクリボーのためだけに3D化したんじゃないかと思わんでもない
・遊星は他二人に比べてメンタル弱めに描かれてる　→一番下だからかな?
・でも多分、素の状態なら　表>十代>遊星>>>>>>>>王様　くらいだと思うよ私
・パラドックスがモンスターと合体→「モンスターと一体化した!?」
・えっと・・・遊星はともかく、遊戯と十代はそこまでビビらなくても
・遊戯は似たようなことがあったし(マリク)、十代はそもそもお前の相手って基本人外だったじ ゃないか
・最終ATK10000
・低い、と思った私はGXに毒されすぎている
・にしても、遊戯(王様)はもーちょい活躍してもよかったんじゃないかな・・・かなぁ・・・


番外
・眼鏡なのに3D眼鏡渡された
・サングラスみたいに、レンズにはめるタイプがあると信じて疑わなかったのに
・メガネオンメガネかよー、と友人に愚痴っていたら隣の席の人に「メガネオンメガネ!!」とちょう笑われま した
・そこまで笑わなくたって・・・orz　(その人は「自分もメガネオンメガネですよー!」と言ってましたが )


ちょこっと気になった部分
やっぱり、1時間じゃ短いよ・・・短すぎるよ・・・
すっごく駆け足だったなーと思います。肝心のデュエルは何分やったよ。
あと、表さんもデュエル参加して欲しかった　な・・・贅沢な悩みですか。
一応、私は表>王様という考えの持ち主なのです。王様を指して「キングオブデュエリスト」っていうのは気に ならないんですが(その称号はBC終了時に王様がもらったものだし)、「キングオブデュエリスト」の称号を 守り続けたのは表さんだと思うので、「最強のデュエリスト」って言った場合には表さんかなーと思ってしまい ます。やっぱり。
まぁ、遊戯王の主人公は表さんでも、話を動かすのは王様だったからなー。仕方ないか。

まぁ、個人的にコラボ・クロスオーバーは大好きで、主人公はみんな好きなので(一番好きなのは十代ですが) 、満足です。
ああ、満足で思い出した。
友人と電車の広告に「満足」って出た瞬間同時に噴き出したとか、そういうのじゃなくてですね。(実際にあっ たことですが)
遊星が王様に「君の時代には君を待っている仲間がいるんじゃないのか?」って言われて、仲間の顔を思い浮か べたときに、きちんと鬼柳さんがいました(※ただし満足時代)。
リーダー・・・よかったね・・・(ほろり)
