Don't know if it was mentioned, but the original Life Point counters were still there; they only changed the cards into the kind you see on the show.

One random note, one of the friends who was with me didn't know about the whole Yubel/Jaden thing. So before the duel, when his eyes glowed both red and green, my friend just retorts, "Very festive."

I laughed.

I don't think people really took notice to it at my theater. But that scene was kinda cool, I was just sorta hoping there wouldn't be a Dan Green yell of YugiOOOOHH when Atem came, but there was. It wasn't that bad, but that is one scene that would have benefited using the OST of Make Magic.

That would be diggin into the realm of making it up. Yubel and Banner could tell he was from the future though, and confirmed it for Jaden. The reasoning was something along the lines of duel spirits.

Nobody spoke during the screening I went to. They only laughed at Jack's comment about Yugi's hair. XD

I liked it after Paradox summoned Sin Rainbow Dragon and Jaden goes "Why are you using my friend's dragon?". He never said that about Sin Cyber End Dragon. Does he hate him or something?

Oh yeah, I remembered another thing I wanted to know more about. When Paradox summons Sin Truth Dragon, Yusei's friends are shown in the 5D's period, worried about Yusei, and Pegasus says he has a bad feeling about this (at least in the original). How did that scene go down, exactly?

Also, if any of you want to inquire about the dialogue, it's in the summary post (second post) of the thread! Arguably, that's of the Japanese version from the Movie Wiki, but if you want an approximate script of the dialogue, that should do it. As for those who attended the movie, the dialogue script may help you jog your memory?

If what I remember you asking about, the scene is basically Yusei's friends worrying about him, saying whatever he is doing better start working.

I wish I remembered enough to approximate the dialogue. I remember to when they flashed forward to 5D's time; it was pretty much Yusei's gang and a buncha citizens overlooking Neo Domino as it was dissolving away. Crow and maybe the rest said something along the lines of putting their faith in Yusei.

And as for Pegasus, I think he was oblivious to any danger.

It was noted about a storm, which is why Pegasus couldn't land. Once the duel was over, after Melefic world disappeared, they noted the storm went away (to some laughs from the audience)

And when sin truth appears it does go back to the 5D's era,

... SJ said it would be in theaters. They screwed up. It was in the showing in NYC which 4kids set up themselves.

On that note, Viz Media gave us the crappiest give away, a cut up version of Ride 1, cutting away Yusei summoning Junk Blader, and ending once the duel ends. 4kids gave up the movie, Konami gave us the card, and Viz Media gave us the manga pack. If the fan art was there, it would make up for Viz Media horrible mini-manga.

Nope only Atem, after the 3 bid farewell we just see Yusei return to his time, his friends run to him. Yusei says to himself that maybe he can finally get over the past. Then we just see a little portrait at the end with him his friends and Jaden and Yugi/atem in the back. After that we get the credits.

Just came back. The movie was really good. The dub was better than I expected.
The fanart was shown at the very beginning before the 10 minute recap. The one I remember was one in second place which looked really realistic.
The 10 minute recap was cropped and upscaled to HD and converted to 3D. The 3D in the recap wasn't all that bad, but some parts of DM and GX looked awful due to the upscaling.

The movie looked amazing. The animation was top-notch. Some dialog made me laugh a bit (or cringe a bit.)

Jaden: I've seen a bunch a huge monsters, but this behemoth takes the cake!
Yusei: Yeah, and it probably ate it too.

(Pegasus heading towards Domino City {With the Millennium Eye? Must be a fake.)
(Duel ends. Clouds around plaza completely vanish.)
Pilot: Mr. Pegasus, the clouds have cleared. (and this made the whole theater crack up.)

Pegasus: It's a dream come true to have all you people around me (or something to that effect.)

The ending credits played the original Yu-Gi-Oh! theme along with Get your Game On and Hyper Drive. It showed all of the combos the protagonists used in the duel.

Overall: Very good dub. Paradox sounded very well. The only flaw was the lack of the Japanese score. But the dub score sounded very good and somewhat made up for it. There was even silence when it was needed.

8.5/10

I think that they stated there will be a sub of it. (Not sure if it will be on the release, but I hope so, I'd actually like to own official subs for once)

Yes yes yes, a thousand times yes. I can't stress how happy this made me. Worked really nicely when they did use it, and I'm unfamiliar with the current state of affairs of the 5D's dub right now, but I hope they carry this into that.

I believe the silent moments that I remember were when Yusei, Jack, and Crow went back to their place, trying to figure out what had happened up to where they see Stardust was shown in an article that happened years ago. There was an eerie silence when Yugi got up after Paradox attacked, seeing how everything was destroyed (basically was saying to himself "No...no...NOOOOOOOOO!!") up to where the Crimson Dragon made its appearance and took him. And I'd say the longest silence in the movie was before Yugi's turn as Yusei told him that it's perfectly fine to destroy Stardust if he had to, knowing Stardust would want it that way rather than being under Paradox's control which was very cool because afterwards it had dramatic shots of Yusei's eyes and Yugi's eyes (Paradox chimed in "How touching") and the silence went up until after Yugi drew his card.

The silent moments were used at perfect times, so glad not constant music and the music used were kinda new and you'd hear familiar tracks used in past dubs but more of a remix and stronger so they didn't cheat on using stock music. The music I'm still inlove with was with Yusei remembering his friends, that track gave me chills mainly because I'm a sucker for dramatic choir chorus. I also think they really made sure voice acting was very good. Greg Abbey and Jaden's VAs were at their best, hitting right emotions and pitches.

Lulz...Aki giving mild fanservice for leaning forward and giving a wink as she's remembered. =B

Also the the sudden silence right when Yusei awakens from his nightmare. That one was good.

Also, I love how everyone got quiet right before it was Yugi's turn to step up in the duel.

In an unrelated note... grrrr why was I looking away for only like a second at that Aki wink scene... I caught a split second of it at least...
