As long as it wasn't Yugi, then I am fine. My memory is losing it every day after the movie, I really want an online version just so I can remember it. I expect a DVD within a few months, that should suffice.

I forgot about the Europe scene. He did get slammed in one part of that.

He said that his classmates reported that their cards were being stolen, so he decided to investigate. As far as I'm concerned, it still leaves the door open for season 4 of GX to be dubbed.

That reminds me, when do you think Paradox snatched the Red-Eyes Black and Blue-Eyes White Dragons?

Edit: Okay, that might have been a stupid question in hindsight. But thinking more on the subject, showing Paradox stealing the cards he uses for his Malefic monsters would have been a good excuse to give their owners a cameo in the movie.

I'm going to see the movie next weekend most likely, buying a couple movie packs only made me want to see it more.

Yugi's mat is with the worst quality and smallest size. Why am I not surprised? =_= But yeah...I was like "" when I saw Paradox's cards there. I guess they didn't make Paradox's own mat, cuz he used not enough cards to fill the background, so they just transfered his cards to Yugi's mat. A little bit stupid, but alas.....

Although I am kinda miffed Yugi had to take in some of Paradox's cards cause he's too much of a bum to get his own. But oh well, just means Yugi's mat is double the awesome.

Edit: ...Okay why is Red-Eyes Black Dragon shown twice on Yugi's mat? And what is Alector, Sovereign of Birds doing on there? Yugi never used that card, neither did Paradox or ANYONE in the DM anime. What the hell?

I believe the cards are general list of cards from their "eras". If you notice, Juudai's has Ancient Gears and Rainbow Dragon.

Hmm, so the Red-Eyes pack-in confirms that Paradox stole it from Jonouchi. I really think that's pointless. It's not a one-of-a kind card in the anime. Rare, yes. But Fubuki had two of them. If they're going to confirm that he stole it from Jonouchi, why not show it in the movie to begin with?

I'm very surprised to see this video on YT. But I guess it'll soon be deleted. At least we got to hear Paradox's voice and the hilarious line with "the cake" part. xD Secretly hope more scenes will be uploaded though.

And I think Malik used the same term for when he used with Ra. But yeah, Paradox in the dub does talk 'mannerful' tone as you can tell. Sure, would've expected the voice a bit less raspy but he did nail it. I don't think Sean has done a role that's a bit psycho that Paradox pulls later in the movie, but he did really well.

I'm wondering if it was the dub trying to be closer to the original line. According to the Japanese Movie Wiki, Paradox's line went like this in the original:

Paradox: ACTIVATE TRAP! SIN PARADIGM SHIFT! When Sin Paradox Dragon is destroyed, I can pay half my Life Points at the expense of sacrificing my own body, to Special Summon Sin Truth Dragon! UURaaAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!

Or like Kyte said, he's sacrificing his actual life energy as well.

Soooooo Arynis, how didja think they did with Paradox's voice from hearing that one clip?

It's pretty good, I liked it. The laugh was especially good! From the short clip, I'd say the VAs are doing their jobs well.

Yeah, I honestly think they sent the VAs through some boot camp, their lines sounded quite natural. Though of course with veterans like Dan Green and Sean Schemmel, they'd be able to nail it even with the 4Kids! script. Maybe they made Paradox more 'evil' but just a bit, you still feel for him as he explained about the future.

I think DMG and DM's voices were different, though could be because theater sound systems. Liked Crow's new voice. I'm just glad no one really made it sound obnoxious like how sometimes a translated line would sound like and hitting the pitches, it was really good. I'd say the 49 minutes beat POL over and over again, in terms of dubbing and movie script, of course.

Nice to see the VAs' experience while dubbing the movie and their opinion on the movie itself. Since Dan Green said he had to make Yugi sound older, I'm really interested in seeing how this would sound, cuz I can hardly believe it. xD It'll be interesting to hear the VAs of Paradox and Judai when their videos are being uploaded.
