    No, that was just speculation. We don't know if it's the Jump Festa footage or dub exclusive footage.

    Being in Los Angeles I knew one would pop up not too far. Now I just have to plan what time I'll go. I'll be going alone since it's just a casual viewing for me. I would like to avoid a huge crowd since I know many fangasms will ruin the watch of it & little kids will be "ohhhhh ahhhhhh eeeee"ing throughout. My best bet would be going at the latest showing if it's past 11pm or so. Maybe the earliest which could be 10am+. Schedules on the theatres times hasn't been posting for mine yet.

    The short movie scenes we had revealed in the latest episode of 5D'S were OK. Yusei's first turn was pretty rushed, so Judai could be notable, but I'm fine with that. I hope we'll see more of Paradox next time. I'd also like to see more of the farewell scene between the protagonists. ◕◡◕
    I guess these promotional scenes will last 2 more episodes and then we'll probably have new ED theme for the remained 5 episodes of 5D'S.
    PS: Now we know what the card art of Sin Siber End Dragon will be - http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pi...79549495397426
    PS2: Breh...the trailer in the movie's english website is already available for watching. It was about time actually. (◡‿◡ )

    Anyone fall into this theater list?

    If you do, you can see the movie a week early.

    Does anyone have the showtimes for their theatre yet? Mine shows ONLY 11am so far & was wondering if more air times will show up the closer we get to the 26th. I just found it weird that they'd just post 1 showtime.

    Might as well check. I'll come back after calling them up and asking about it.

    EDIT: They won't know until next week. so yeah. I would hope for something a bit later than 11 am, but it isn't such a big deal.

    I assumed they'd post more over time because if they had one showtime for the day then it'd be a mass swarm of people trying to get in. As mentioned before, I'd like to avoid being in a crowded screening filled with Kids & Cosplayers.

    Plus there's a chance of people buying multiple tickets just for the card so that'll sell out even faster so 1 viewing each of the days isn't so smart.

    Bear in mind the huge costs films pay to just be shown in cinemas, the small audience this film will get anyway is barely cost affective.

    I doubt that many people will be swarming, If you feel worried, try to order tickets ahead of time, on the phone, or online. Be happy you know the times.

    I would think it cost more for the theaters to carry the film as they would need to take up a 3D theater that could be used for the Beiber Movie, or one of the other 3D movies there. The more theaters htye get, the more money 4kids gets (which is why they didn't stop at 250)

    According to the financial times, some studies are issuing cinematic equipment to some theaters in order for them to show 3D films, though I suspect this is only to big chain ones which have vested interests.

    These theaters showing it either have 3D already, or have recently gained it. I don't think this movie is anything that would make theaters want to go to 3D. I was talking about the opportunity cost of showing this movie.

    Lets view it this way. Say with ads and what not the movie is 1 hour. Lets say it airs 5.6 times a day for 2 days in a theatre. That's 12 hours. So that's say 6-12 showings of a movie (depending on time) which could be used for showing more profitable screenings.

    Which is why it is a gamble, but I would be more thankful for those theaters able to do this, rather than talking bad of them. The theater near me has 18 theaters, 4 of which are 3D enabled. I assume they will be able to get rid of one of the movies, like the Beiber movie, which don't depend on 3D as much (they have standard showings of it). And remember, it is only for 4 days, so I doubt it will dig into their profit margins/expectations too much.

    I am sure when Cinedigm advertised this to theaters, the last thing they wanted to bring up was the profit. It was probably more about helping out a bigger cause, and help kids nation wide see the movie they want to, the way it was supposed to be seen, in 3D.

    Oh I did, no reply though. I was enquiring about if the film was to be released would their be a non 3D one (being I can't see 3D for having one eye).

    Aaaah, bummerrrr.. The closest theater location that's gonna have a screening for it is three hours from here.

    Granted, I'm sure there are some people driving farther to see it, but I can't imagine anyone I know wanting to take a road trip like that just for the Yugioh movie. & Seeing it alone kills some of the fun of it. xD;

    I stalk General Yugioh, GX, ZaXel, and RANDOM.

    Same thing is happening to me, only difference is that my screening is about 3.5 hours away from my home. I want to see it as well, but I'm not sure if the traveling will be worth it. Especially since the movie will be no longer than an hour and a half.

    Actually, the movie does come out in Europe in Q1 (along with the DVD release with a promo card in it).

    The +1 year thing was a totally embarrassing misinterpretation of 4Kids' news on my part. For which I apologized before, but I'm going to do it again. >.<

    However, it is known that the movie will come to select countries in Europe.

    Don't want to appear like an old grump but kindly don't use the word "Spazz". It's an extremely offensive word in the UK and is a derogatory term for the disabled (something I passionately defend). I know you didn't mean offensive in this use however but thought you should be made aware.

    I contacted 4Kids in the US and the UK about the general release of the film and got no reply from either. At least when I emailed them a few years back about the dubbing of S4 GX they had the decency to send me their generic reply.

    This is true. That's why two of my friends actually decided that it was worth it, and we're car-pooling to one of the March showings if all goes well. Hurrah.

    I know I can't go the first Saturday. If the next day and Saturday I have to work a long shift, I'm asking for the last day of showing the movie off.

    I've had to ask off a few days in the future, but most are in May. Plus, I'm good friends with the guy who makes the schedules.

    Hell no! Be proud at the fact that you're doing this for a good cause. You get to see an AWESOME EYE-POPPING 3D movie that surely kicks Justin Beiber in the nutsack AND you get an awesome Pokemon game that has new pokemon and AWESOME music!

    Don't worry. I'll be doing the same thing too.

    The new Pokemon game is brilliant so it sounds like a perfect day to me. Just don't get too involved playing Pokemon that you forget to see the movie

    ohmygod.. Black and White is so close to releasing. I should pick up a copy when I go see the movie. Totally would. XD I'm just ordering mine online though. So my day will be just a Yugioh day. Still pretty awesome, though. Never thought a Yugioh movie would ever release in theaters outside of Asia again. IN 3D, no less.

    Here's to hoping the actual 3Dness doesn't fail too hard.

    @YaminoRPG: I'm terribly sorry for that, I didn't know the term was for that in the UK. I shall be more careful on using that term in an international forum place.

    Well, Yuuki, from the World Champ last year, the 3D wasn't fail at all, actually. You'd think it'd be weird or flat looking seeing as its hand-drawn animation rather than CGI where it's best used for. Whats interesting is that cards they hold towards the screen, even their hair, actually pop-out to being more 3D so you can see edges of cards stick out more that are pointing towards 'you'. Plus, the little effects such as debris or sparkles or stuff like that from a card's activation stick out very well. Also the ATK/DEF and LP meters pop out the most.

    Originally, wasn't gonna get Pokemon Black and White because my love for Pokemon has gone down a bit, I swear I'm getting stale at repetitive gameplay. However, after looking at the list of Pokemon...Gah, can't help it. >_<

    Their hair is going at us!? I SEE THAT AS NIGHTMARE FUEL .-.

    Duuude the storyline is awesome and the elite four champion fight gets pumped up to eleven... let's just say you need five mons when you fight it, plus icecream pokemon, electrical bug pokemon, them starters, all them fighting types, the dark/steel and that zebra, you know you want them, you know it deep inside.

    I'm out of the loop, because I never knew about the elite four getting maxed out to goddamn 11. o-o
    I kinda only want Black/White so I can catch this pokemon and name it Aslla Piscu.

    The 3-D in movies is barely noticeable to me when I'm watching them, and by the time it's halfway in, I can't even see the effect anymore. I really want to see hair and cards almost poking my face, though. ;-; Maybe it has something to do with my glasses.

    I feel odd not having preordered Pokemon White. I feel even odder about how that got into this thread though.

    I hope the 3D is great, lets all hope it is.

    Not eleven pokemon though. xD Just, the fight is such an epic clash .-. And i wanted that pokemon, too, but i'd have to make a fourth run to use it XD My first one has a ghost/ground mecha for the flyer, the second uses the rock/flying and my third one will be with Wargle (The american Eagle!)
    @Cohen: Pokemon White adn Black come out on the last day of the movie screenings and Pokemon is always brought up in any thread with more than 20 pages, internet rule

    tbh, i don't remember even seeing a 3D movie before ^^;; Well, except for some short in some park place (don't think it was Disney... but what else is there? D: ) with... i think it was a Mini Spies short? oh and then a Shrek short, 3D was just, different, i think. I was at most fifteen so i don't remember well.

    I saw How To Train Your Dragon in 3D and it was amazing. It felt like the dragons were coming out of the screen so I expect to see Stardust virtually coming at me and having fingers pointing in my face when attacks are called (hoping there's no ATLAS PUNCHES or YUSEI KICKS in this film or it could become dangerous )

    As for Pokemon, I've not played it since Diamond but White is amazing, I am totally addicted and can't put it down. @Oshaleon, not seen that Pokemon yet but after seeing your picture I really want it now. Hope it's not an event special.

    EDIT: N from Team Plasma has a Sigilyph, not as impressive on scream as it's colours are a lot brighter than that Wikia picture. Oh well...

    A couple of people who posted earlier mentioned how they weren't all that into Pokemon anymore, to them I say: Give Black and White a try. The characters in the games are older, and the plot is darker than most of the other games, or so I've heard. I played some of White, and much preferred it to D/P/Pt.. I wasn't fond of Sinnoh much at all. D; B/W is impress thus far, though.

    Kay, that feels soooo off-topic, ugh.

    As for the 3D in the Yugioh movie: It's better than most, Kyte? I figure that somehow adding a 3D effect to 2D animation might work out better in some odd way. Since the 3D version has such hype, I figure it'll at least be half-way decent. Not like we're given a choice, though, since they aren't showing it any other way. 3D or nothin'. xD;

    I stalk General Yugioh, GX, ZaXel, and RANDOM.

    I decided to randomly check out a theater for ticket prices, when I came across this on MovieTicket.com's website...

    WRITER(S):
    Kazuki Takahashi, Jin Yoshida

    ...Takahashi writing the movie. I lol'd. And who is that Jin Yoshida person, anyway? Don't tell me Y-man has an evil twin with a goatee. >:O Scary stuff.

    Yeah, the momentary CGI does work in 3D for this movie but also the 2D which I would say mostly works with the background. For example, you see buildings and clouds that can tell which are closer or further away. When stardust Dragon was summoned by Yusei in the beginning, the 'stardust' were all over the place and it was a funky effect.

    But I will say this: from the preview, THE funkiest part was the main duel with SIN world. Seeing the starry background that looks like you'd see in a galaxy was trippy.

    Also, guys, its best not to get the tickets online but rather in person, just show up early unless you wanna miss out the exclsuive card and mini-manga. Probably have said it already, but just a quick refresher!

    ..I would say this Jin Yoshida may be the good twin D8

    Good to know he took more important role in this movie rather than just animating a short scene of it. Well...if the info isn't fake of course. xD

    Perhaps they considered him as writer in the sense which the movie had been creating according his original idea? But in that case, It would be rather be credited as the person who got the original idea, the writer being the one who writes the dialogues.

    I doubt the bigger number of fans seeing the movie, won't even notice that mistake. xD;;;

    @ Kyte - Niiice, seems like it'll be awesome.

    As for the ticket thing, I'm glad to know that, because I was worried about the fact that I hadn't ordered them online yet. Now to hope that my friends and I get there in time to get decent seats and / or even get in at all. XD; I have nooo idea how crowded or not crowded this event is gonna be.
