It's simple. The cards were edited so they could show the Movie on TV. As the FCC considers realistic cards to be commercial time and YGO instantly becomes an infomercial the moment they show realistic cards for more than a millisecond.Blagh, the cards...Blagh.
Well, I guess even if its just editing the cards, it wouldn't mess up the actual 3D effect too much, I suppose. Still, damn. I wonder if it was because with Warner Bros on their side, they were able to do the card thing. Still, I'm sure they would've gotten away with it with Konami on their side.
