Takahashi is already credited as the "Original Creator" for the movie, just like he's credited as "Original Creator" for DM, GX and 5D's. As in, he's the daddy of the franchise.

I believe Takahashi's involvement was those few scenes alone. Paradox was designed by Junki Takegami. Although Paradox is muddy origins wise, as he could have been created by the 5D's character designer, Maruyama as well, but Takegami upping his design for the movie. I don't recall any confirmation on exactly who made Paradox. It depends on how far back he was conceived. (As in, he was initially designed for the movie in mind, or he had been already planned out for 5D's and dropped in the movie?)

The Screenwriter role is Jin Shin Yoshida's and Yoshida's alone.

Same here. I watch alot of movies in 3D, and with me wearing my 3D glasses on top of my regular glasses, the 3D effects get kinda mucked up.

    Poor us glasses wearers. D:

Also, now I imagined Yoshida in a tuxedo and moustache flying by the NAS headquartes in a hot air baloon. Awesome.

I didn't have much problem seeing the 3D effects myself, and I'm also a glasses wearer. For me, it's more about being able to wear both your regular and 3D glasses on your head. It's a tad heavy and discomforting... D:

Oh god, that imagery is the best ever, Xray. Don't forget the mustache twirling~

yes but in my case it's not possible to see 3D due to being blind in one eye. You need 2 eyes to see 3D.

Ah...? I didn't know you must wear your regular glasses and 3D glasses to see the movie. I thought you must wear glasses instead of your usual glasses and you see the movie like that... Well, I will continue to wear my glasses to see the movie... when It will be released.

Well, I do need my glasses, because I have myopia and can't see jack without them otherwise. XD Meaning that I wouldn't be able to see the movie screen properly if I don't wear them. That's what I meant with wearing both. You need to wear your 3D glasses to watch the movie properly, of course.

So I had no choice, I will wear them also. I don't have big problems to see without my glasses but they are still necessary. I see what you mean, my brother has the same problem.

Thanks, It's a little the idea I thought. It reminds me clips to glasses I saw in a publicity: you can change them according your wishes or the place where you are.

Being on the nets for so much for certain forums does that to ya XD

Man, I hate that though. Wished they spread out more so more of the fanbase who has been so much on this franchise and been waiting for so long for this movie can finally see it. >_<

Not me, but it doesn't matter. Most 3D glasses are large enough to go over regular glasses. My mom has glasses, they just go right over them.

I feel kinda better knowing I'm not alone in the 'seeing 3-D properly' problem. XD I just feel left out when all my friends and family harp about how awesome the 3-D is in x movie and I'm thinking, "What 3-D...?". My sight is terrible without my glasses, so I'm not going to see the movie at all without them. Maybe it also has to do with my right eye that's jacked up from an infection I had.

Ah well, I'm going to try to sit in a closer row and experiment with the 3-D glasses and my own next time I see a 3-D movie. (I wonder if it would be better if I put my glasses over the 3-D ones, at the risk of looking redonkulous)

They're not that bad, don't be so pessimistic In fact Alice In Wonderland in 3D was divine (and didn't seem as powerful when I watched it on TV over Christmas). I've seen quite a few 3D movies and other than having to wear the oversized glasses, I couldn't fault anything.

Paradox is confirmed to be voiced by Sean Schemmel. This should be interesting. Submit your questions to either Sean Schemmel, Dan Green, Darren Dunstan, or the producers at the Yugioh fan page at facebook.

    Dear Dan Green
Did you get your VA job at 4kids by screening your ****** flicks?

I only know this guy by voicing Goku, but he's pretty talanted voice actor. So I can definitely say I'm impatient to hear him voicing Paradox.

I'm geekishly thrilled on the idea if he uses his Goku voice for Paradox.......I mean, imagining THAT voice, as he duels against the trio, calling out by names and such is...GAH ignore my nerdy happiness and daydreams XD

Again, PERFECT opportunity, 4Kids. Use Sean to sing an English version for makemagic. That would be THE most amazing thing ever and would be very impressive because he has the vocal chords and pitch to do it quite right.

I love that he's gonna be in the this, though. YES x1000.

    I think he could either play the role really well, or make it sound.. really weird. Because who knows how 4Kids will want him to sound. I just don't hope they don't mess it up too much, and let him do his own thing. Whatever he thinks fits, I mean. Sometimes it's the voice directors that mess up the voices, and the VA's can't' really say No to them. =w=;

Well, Yuuki, Darren Dunstan has been the Voice Director and he's been doing very well in picking the right voices for characters too, and very well on acting not that I doubt in Sean's acting. I would say it will turn out very well.

And this makes up for missing the chance of seeing the few times the DBZ movies was in theaters to finally hear it in a theater's sound system. Tbh,I'm rather willing to see the movie on all days since a theater is in the next town over that will have the movie being shown.

Well one of my friends went to an early showing of the movie and this is some of the interesting stuff that happened:

    - the movie is unedited, including Yubel's chest and Pharoah isn't neutered. the music is replaced but its good by 4kids's standards

    - Yusei can see duel spirits now

    - Paradox has a decent voice, tho its a bit like Crowler's (since Sean voiced Paradox)

    - 5D's minor characters cameo with Ushio, Mikage, Team Sat Kiryu, Yanagi, Himuro, etc etc

    - Judai has a laptop :3

    - The ten minutes of extra footage wasn't included in the american release.

Damn, so music is replaced. How about script-wise? Would it seem to be intact or not so much, I wonder. Oh yeah, cards being edited?

Also, since it seems its TS Kiryu that was remembered, that means this movie happens before Crashtown.

Well, that just makes me even more anticipating this movie. Exactly how did your friend get to go?

I'll ask her when she comes back on AIM but I assume cards are unedited since PoL movie got away with that...

I don't think they're unedited since the trailers for the dub movie have the cards edited in them.

Dunno if 4Kids is able to edit all too much for the movie, it may tamper the 3D effect too much so would make sense why nothing is edited and I'm sure its the same with the cards. As for the dub's trailer, don't forget, is said that the movie will also be TV broadcasted too at a later date, so that would most likely be 2D and easy to edit.

Kinda figured that, but that at least gives hope that it isn't sucky music.

    - Yusei can see duel spirits now
...How is that new? Yusei could see Ancient Fairy Dragon and talk to it just like Ruka, back in season 2.

Wow. Now *this* is neat. Didn't know that...

    - Judai has a laptop :3
The latest previews at the end of the 5Ds episodes showed that. *nod*

    Good, lol.

Ehhh, I figured AFD was a special case since Ushio could see her too.

Also cards are edited like they are for the tv dub unfortunately.

    Blagh, the cards...Blagh.

Well, I guess even if its just editing the cards, it wouldn't mess up the actual 3D effect too much, I suppose. Still, damn. I wonder if it was because with Warner Bros on their side, they were able to do the card thing. Still, I'm sure they would've gotten away with it with Konami on their side.

Also, dunno if dub did this on purpose, but I believe tomorrow's dub episode is with Sherry and first revealing of ZONE. The same thing happened in Japan where just around the same time the movie comes out, the episode aired. Funky.

Finally got a movie time, only one a day like Golfkid said. Oh well, at least it is a fair time, even able to catch 5Ds then swing over there at 1 pm.

Fortunate for ya Cohen, the movie showing for me is at 10AM sharp so gotta be pretty early and all. But, technically, we'll be seeing it at the same time due to time zone difference.

EDIT: BTW Starry, has your friend mentioned about what the mini-manga consists of and all?
