Damn, I just can't wait for this to come online in good quality! I'm gonna actually wait patiently...for months for this, lol. How long was it before we got the 5D's OVA online? A few months? I think we had the low-quality upload after about one-two months, or so?

Hmm, isn't there a difference between an OVA and a movie release time wise? Or is there none?

I just spoiled myself. Big time.

Oh well. Most of that info I'll forget by July 2010. 8D Loads of things in there contradict the things I'm putting in my 10th Anniversary one-shot fanfic, but no harm done.
In all serioussness though, from what I've read so far before I realized too much spoiling would cause me to NOT watch this movie, I wish my timeline for the movie was true rather than what I've read.

Well, I did put up a warning... XD

Some of the dialogs I recognize them because I have seen it on fanarts of pixiv. ^^

I didn't read it all (I don't want to be spoiled that much)

Also I noticed that in that movie dialog it says that Yusei wakes up on the sofa? for what I saw in the AxA special, that looked like his bed xD
And also, the events in that are passing pretty fast so maybe this isn't the full version *hopes*

The movie is only 49 minutes long, so I wouldn't be surprised if things happened fast.

You've got to keep in mind that the summary itself is not 100% accurate, nor is Heleentje's translation. It might be indeed his bed, but it could really be a sofa. (Though, it reminds me of how Bruno was sleeping on the sofa. Yusei got exiled from his bed!)

Time travel is the central piece of these volumes. Link must travel constantly between the past and the future. Because of this he prevents the vilains, Vera and Onox to destroys definively the time and the world. But I stop here for Zelda, It's off topic.

Very, very good. Now we know what actually happens at the very movie's beginning. We know the reason behind Paradox's actions and how the 3 protagonists meet. Impatient to see the rest of the movie synopsis. I guess the rest will describe the duel in details and probably the end of the movie. When I read everything carefully, I'll make my conclusions about everything, but right now there're many things about this movie that still need explanation.

Technically, all three protagonists decided to work towards to a better future, so they are all working on preventing the future Paradox came from. Maybe at the end of 5D's, we'll see a flash forward to the new, better future? That'd be nice.

I came from the distant future. From the future where the world is destroyed. If I let history be, the world will be destroyed. I have come here to change that hopeless future. OVA stands for "Original Video Anime". As the name says, it's make to be sold on video, nowadays more on DVD, while a movie goes in cinemas and later (some months) is released for sale. Probably the movie was first conceived as an OVA but then the executives thought that a cinema release could have made it more profitable (and it worked).

The future of the human race has already been shown in GX season four. In fact, there are a lot of similarities (the world was created by cards...). Season 4, the movie and 5Ds are all connected.

The final boss (Darkness) in 2008 foreshadowed the events of the movie in 2010.

Why did he, and how did Paradox know he had to take Yusei's Stardust Dragon, or any other dragons, for that matter?
Who ordered Paradox to kill Pegasus? (trailer tagline)
How was exactly Paradox's future destroyed?
Who is exactly Paradox?
Exactly why did he wear his mask? He didn't take it off until the three protagonists gathered. Apart from "GASP Reveal!" issues, that is. Did he have to hide his identity?
Did Paradox have any special powers? It was stated he had the ability to turn normal monsters into Sin monsters.
If the Crimson Dragon is so powerful it can even rewind time, why didn't it dispose of Paradox and dump him somewhere else without his bike?


Then it makes you want to ask these questions:

Did he actually originate from the future? Perhaps he was sent there?
Is someone behind Paradox's schemes?
Is Illiaster related to the incident in any way?
Dark Glass? His Accel Synchro antics did seem something like Paradox's time travel warp.
What about the Z-ONE card? Maybe Paradox was developed in one of those things? Oh lawl

Paradox's true identity would have to be an actor. There is no way for him to wear that 'comedy/tragedy' mask if he WASN'T one.

Besides, if Paradox does get a season to himself, I just hope the writers remember the questions THEY asked themselves while thinking up what htis guy was going to be like.
Just one quick question though, even if it probably has been answered. Does anyone have any idea who animates this movie? Because I applaud them for making Yusei actually look cute (/shot) while acting normally.

[Heleentje's note: The Yugi who went back in GX was himself, that's what the book says. However, there are mistakes in the book, so we shouldn't take this as truth. (I.e. The Yugi who Juudai met was the Yugi who sent Juudai away in the first place, I think) I'm not sure it's correct, though. The wording is very confusing.

XYZ's notes, loosely translated: there's another source that says the same. We can assume that the Yugi in GX came after the Yugi in the movie. It's not contradictory for Yugi to know Juudai in the first ep... (Actually, it's more or less what we said, from what I gather. they met in the movie, so Yugi knew Juudai)]

4. Will the protagonists meet again?
=> The basic answer is: "Maybe. Maybe not, we don't know either."

The future of the human race has already been shown in GX season four. In fact, there are a lot of similarities (the world was created by cards...). Season 4, the movie and 5Ds are all connected.

The final boss (Darkness) in 2008 foreshadowed the events of the movie in 2010.

H-Holy shit! Was this actually written officially in the anime booklet?! If Paradox and this movie become involved in 5D's... I will forgive them for the mess season 3 is becoming. Especially if Yugi and Judai return, or other GX/5D's characters for that matter.
