I knew the anime; I just wasn't sure about the scene. Seeing as how my dial-up cannot use YouTube.

Some believe that Yoshida's statement shouldn't be given too much importance, or that he's just trolling the audience. Granted, "true colors" could be taken as something vague. Would we learn more of his backstory? Circumstances? Personality? Identity?

It would also imply that what we saw in the movie was false, a facade identity. The again, it may also be a slang translation, or a misuse of English idioms.

As for his involvement in 5D's, there are rumors from 2CH that the 4th Emperor is Paradox. The 4th's expected identity is the Tenor fusion right now, due to his design. However. The following theories are floating around:

• Paradox is the fusion of the Tenors, the 4th Emperor. The Tenors represent each aspect of his personality.
• Paradox somehow gets fused into the 4th, along with the Tenors.
• Paradox was fished out from the nether by Zone upon his defeat at the hands of the protagonists, and was reconstructed as the 4th Tenor, with him taking after the other Tenors due to the latter also being Zone's creations.

The issue I see there is that the resultant being looks more like Placido than any of the other three by a huge margin (effectively the same eyes, not to mention the green gem and that creepy-as-hell sneer).

It should be noted that the Weekly Jump page words it as a person who "appears at the climax of the duel" as the 4th D-Wheeler. One could take it either way whether said person appears as in making his appearance upon the Tenors fusing, or that this person interrupts the duel in some way.

I'm guessing the latter.

It kinda is, though, when you think of how contrived (in the sense of how you pull it off) or even stupid Synchro Summoning might've seemed to some people at first and how Yugi, someone around before it was, looked all confused when Yusei did it. But I laughed, too. =U

I mean, that's just be insane for that fusion to have appeared out of nowhere, or him having a fusion which required Junk Gardna, a card that hadn't even been created yet XDDDDDD

Jaden can actually talk with neos and neo spacains. Aqua Dolphin and Neos also gave tips to Jaden during season three. Jaden has a really strong bond with his cards.

Some of them were utterly stupid. Had they made them look a little bit better, and maybe not had them talk, they'd be alright. Though, I personally like the designs of Rainbow and God Neos. The others... not as much.

It's possible; but as I believe I pointed out earlier, there are a few key differences in features. The main one is that Paradox has more human-looking eyes, ones that reflect light and have white centers to their pupils. He alsh has a more huma complexion than any of them; Placido, Lucciano and Bruno are pale, and Jose looks like a spray-on tan gone horribly wrong. Paradox has no gems on his head, either. And lastly, he's shown no evidence of being able to fuse into his D-Wheel. So, if he is, I will be very surprised and will eat my whole Deck. (A different one from earlier.)

Well, I don't have revelations, but this was pretty close. I just got to thinking one day about how after the circuit is complete, and the three combine back together to form Paradox, they realize the destruction was too large and try to go back in time and stop Duel Monsters from ever happening.

We have had the chants for a long time now. It's in the summary (#3 post of the thread), but Remaner's translation may not be the most accurate or stylish.

Remaner's translation:

In the chants, as you well know, the phrase "Sudoishi ___" describes "clustering", and is always at the head of the sentence. This is not the case here, so it requires a different translation. No idea on the other guy.

Yes, Aohige is w well known news bringer on Arlong Park, a forum dedicated for One Piece. I'd say that comparison is well earned.

Dude, you don't have to keep mentioning their subs in every post you make. Yeah, it's great that they have official subs now, but they don't always have it right, even with lines from NAS, because some translations can vary. And some of their lines also seem like they were put in without looking at the context in which they were used, so that detracts from them a bit, too (at least, to me). I do admit that I prefer their "Become the path that lights the way" line, though, since it does have a nice ring to it (and, as Ark said, refers to the "LASER PILLAR OF LIGHT" involved).

Also, Ark, I'll throw in my praise, too, since I can't imagine trying to tackle card effects, previews and the like each week/multiple times each week, especially on top of schoolwork/the other stuff I do, so you're doing good, man. =D

Well, honestly, I might've exaggerated, but it does kinda feel like it, haha. I mean, you mention how good they are a bit here and over on Toonzone, and you also kinda randomly threw it out there in the "5D's 2010" thread. It's really no big deal, it just kinda irked me that you were saying their subs were the definitive subs, which they can be, IMO, if they just worked on the context thing a bit and some other things here and there.

GLL is right tho. It's the vibe of the comments made. It's ok to like the dub but, Mark you need to accept that isn't as perfect as you think. Accept that sometimes even official translations from corporations can be wrong esp since there is no such thing as a 100% (no mistakes) translation.

I have seen this video, and it's definitely a fanmade AMV.
But I guess the official 4KID'S movie trailer will appear somewhere around Christmas, or in the worst case - around February. It depends on how many movie trailers 4KID'S intends to release. I think there will be 2 - a short one (just announcing the upcomming movie's premiere on Spring 2011) and more detailed one (2 months before the official premiere itself on theatres)
But that's just my speculation.

Cohen, I don't think 4Kids fail economics that hard. That would give no incentive to watch the film in theatres. No, it has to be at least a few weeks after, so they have a chance to profit off the 3D.
