I thought the recap was made up of new footage produced in Japan?

^I don't think there'll be something japan mades for 4kids, that will be ridiculous considering they are in a lawsuit.

It was shown at a Jumpfest through, so I presume it was the same one.

Which would explain the lack of Season 4 footage; people on Japan already know that stuff.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the twins were the ones narrating it.

Thats the same conversation we had a while back about the same matter.

Did they said that it will be the feature showed at the Jump Fest or they didn't specified?

Now I am confused. Although maybe the dub just gave a different narrator or something.

I am almost certain it was produced by 4kids all by them. The fact this footage was called exclusive and added onto the time of the movie would suggest it wasn't originally in the package received.

Then if that is true, it makes me wonder if we will get the original recap special in the Japanese version or possibly the UK version at all. I want it for collection purposes, even if it holds no real importance. Just kind of cool to see the best moments of the three series lined up like that.

Well, Manga did say that the dub will be longer so it seems unlikely. But you can always ask them on their twitter: http://twitter.com/#!/mangauk

I wouldn't call it the best moments of the series. More like, a recap with the three Yu-Gi-Oh series thrown together while leaving out a bunch of the major villains and plot so you can't tell what's going on.

Awesome. Then I guess a sub of the film is coming our way? *Crosses fingers.*

Official one is coming, so no need for GU to take time off of the Zexal subbing.

Actually, I will be doing it, only because this will be the last bowtie on the hard work I did for the three series in question (or rather, Duel Monsters and half of 5D's and only a little GX). My sub will hold people over until the official release comes out more than a month after. I still encourage people to preorder the UK version. I will be getting both.

Don't worry Cohen, I'll still try to balance things out so I do a bit of work on ZeXal as well.

Duly noted, and thank you for all that hard work.

FYI, my copy of the movie is being held and the only thing keeping my order from shipping is 5D's Duel Box 12... but DB 12 should be worth the wait at least.

I'll let you know when it ships and the ETA for its arrival. Actually GETTING and SIGNING for it will be another issue due to my work and my lazy father, but... I digress.

We were able to wait more than 1 full year for this movie, so waiting a week or 2 more won't kill us. So don't worry

Are you due to receive this before the UK DVD comes out? Just wondering as the UK release will be dual language so I assumed it would save you the hassle of actually subbing it and therefore that version could be uploaded instead (I don't know how these things work so if what I just said is completely impossible then just ignore me ).

This release should ship in a couple of days, so yes, I'll have it about a month before the UK version.

I'm subbing it only because I feel it'll be like the final staple in my work on the three series over the years. But I definitely urge people to pick up the official version. I also have the UK Blu-Ray on pre-order for additional quality.

With the wonderful art design in the raw and the dvd cover, it'll be enough for me to just sit, stare and and admire Kagami's greatness. xD You'll have the whole time in the world to sub it.

I had no idea it was that soon. I guess I'm completly oblivious to the time passing me by at the moment and it will come as a big surprise when my own DVD turns up. I'm really looking forward to seeing the Japanese version though.

I was surprised when 4kids used the scene where banner and Jaden are in the desert.

I thought 4kids didn't buy the fourth season of gx. I know this may seem like a dumb question but how were they able to do that?

Does this mean that they could had used more scenes from the fourth season in the ten minute recap?

4Kids, as far as I know, has the entire rights to DM, GX, and 5D's at the moment. They also have a contract that guarantee's them exclusitivity, so they will likely have ZeXal, depending on the court rulings. Anyway, I would suspect that 4Kids has the rights to GX's entire series, it's just they chose to skip it. That, so it could be possible that the recap was created by NAS and 4kids just dubbed it, either way...

The first 15 minutes of the Japanese version of Yu-Gi-Oh Bonds Beyond Time.

Enjoy, more seems to be on the way.

    Get it before it vanishes.

May that's the reason it's mirrored. xD

EDIT: Just to know that the uploader is scheduled the second part for tomorrow!

Watching it on youtube even with good quality is not the same but im really happy its finaly out.
Just waiting till someone uploads it, a belevolant subber works his magic and then download it in HD with hardsubs.
There will be no enough words to express how gratefull i would be when that happens,.

Cool, but I'm going to wait for the DVD to come out to see it. It's not every day you get to see a Japanese YGO anime for the first time in your own DVD player.

That is like asking us to confirm if someone wore red shoes four months ago.

EDIT: Why is it that NAS always has to cover up the eyeshield 21 actors minus Jack? First Astral (computer enchanced) and then Paradox (muffled).

Do remember the dub version shown on Youtube by a user that uploaded all 50 minutes of it with credits and believe me, I watched it several times before was taken down, and it seems intact.

It may seem odd for me to say but...I think I enjoyed the dub version more than the original of this. And I prefer original over dub as always, but it's odd...

I agree. I seem to like the dub a lot more than the original one. It's weird.

It might have to do with the voices being much louder than the music, instead of on the same level. It is quite hard to hear the voices in the original version (at least the one uploaded there). Also, a lot of the voices don't even seem to fit the emotion the figures portray, while the dub does a much better job at this (for the first 15 minutes that is). An example of this is Yusei casually saying Synchro summon just as he would in the show, but the character is doing the pose from the opening, implying it should be more resonant.

Well, I just ment the more obvious stuff, like the people falling into Zero-Reverse's Crator or the entire Pegasus being crushed by a building scene. I realize it's hard to recall, but I was just wondering, I live too far away to have seen the movie when it was released in theaters.

I'm pretty sure for the first 15 minutes nothing was changed, but again, I could be wrong.

Doesn't seem so. Why would they invert only part of the film?

That's exactly the case. Some parts are flipped...some aren't. Weird. :I

An example of this is Yusei casually saying Synchro summon just as he would in the show, but the character is doing the pose from the opening, implying it should be more resonant.
It's like Japan doesn't even care about using emotional, resonant lines like "That monster takes the cake"--"And probably ate it too."

    Seriously dude.

Just watch it, then comment. At some point, I cannot believe the characters are saying the words due to such awful synching. Usually this shouldn't be a problem, but when in such high quality and as a movie, you would think they would get that down.

(You are comparing comedy moments to dramitic moments. Each has their own place, and are treated differently. I pretty certain the dub did well in both respects, emotion wise and all)

When Yusei from the opening raising his arm up, do you hear him yell Synchro summon, or scream it at the top of his lungs?

It sounded good for me, it wasn't meant to be that dramatic, the scene happened so fast that it shouldn't be the center of attention. It was Paradox the one we should be paying attention at that part, not Yuusei.

Also Idk how you see it, but I found the Japanese version more credible and serious than the dub.

Wow, I bet the fans of the movie, besides getting tickets for that, they didn't expect a free gun show courtesy of Atem's biceps-v-;;.

A raised arm up toward the sky shouldn't get a loud and dramtic announcement?

I never said the dub was more credible, I am simply finding minor flaws. Every version of anything has minor flaws.

If you are talking about the (), I am simply saying there is no need to compare a comedic moment with a serious moment.

I didn't find that funny line funny, maybe because Its not my culture and Im not used to these kind of jokes, but either way, originally there wasn't any joke in that part, so It shouldn't have been any in the dub.

Also, aren't you forgetting Yuusei is stoic?

    The animation doesn't show stoic.

I'm not justifying adding a comedy moment there, I am just saying to not compare the two.

    I know, but either way...
Sure, the dub emphasized more that part but it wasn't that good for me.

Also, Ryusaki was being sarcastic with that comment xD and I approve it

It is best to follow what the animation gives you. If they were to keep at being stoic, then why include a motion that implies screaming loudly?

Also, either the music is too loud or the voices need to be louder. You can barely hear anything at times.
